Download the latest UK Snow Radar application, version 1.8, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Weather app is developed by UK Weather Forecast and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 1.8, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
Our UK snow radar uses 5 minute super high resolution rainfall imagery combined with our in-house high resolution weather data to determine the precipitation/weather type. Blue represents rainfall, green represents sleet/wet snow mix and pink represents snow. The darker shades of any colour means the precipitation is heavy, lighter coloured and the precipitation will be lighter.
Our radar updates every 5 minutes and it will also display the latest lightning strikes across the UK, perfect during thundersnow events!
You can use the back, forward and animation buttons to navigate through previous time-frames to the latest. We have built in GPS on this application which will show your exact location, if for some reason GPS isn't activated on your handset then you can use the post code field at the top of the application to zoom into your location.

UK Snow Radar 1.8 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

1 ★ 12months ago was great. Reinstalled on new phone and it is now useless. Map is always blank and just cycles between 2:30 and 3 no matter the time of day.
1 ★ Says that it is snowing both last night and now in the south west. I can guarantee that it is not snowing. Good for an easy radar, but consider it as rain and not snow.
1 ★ I downloaded this app last year and was great, I changed my phone and just downloaded again however not very good. It did not update times now is 9.30pm and still had 11am time for that day. Sadly had to uninstall and choice different app,
3 ★ This would be good if it worked but lately zilch. When I tried to contact through the app it told me my email was invalid
2 ★ Didn't get a chance to try it out as had no snow in the area, but the app was driving me mad trying to get me to like their fb page... Get lost already!
5 ★ Love this app. I have horses and this app is always accurate and has saved me from getting caught out in any bad weather. I highly recommend this app 😊

1 ★ Alerts after something happened, it's more like a reminder that Doris was yesterday. After clickin in that notification it says pay to read more. Nothing more than gold diggers...

1 ★ Followed the page/different pages they have promoted allllll summer on fb n then announced this app. According to this quality app it is raining everywhere within a hundred mile radius of me #snow.... That is what's happening :/ I'll look outside for my Weather forecast I think????

1 ★ Blank map still there I've tried this app on HTC and Samsung same thing this app is fake or broken and even it's sources for there rain and snow radar that part of the site isn't there no more Google needs to remove this app from the play store period
