Description
This app provide use your smartphone microphone for detecting sound value. sound intensity Sound Meter The unit of sound is db decibel your app show sound meter value in decibel dB.
The world is a noisy place: cars, power tools, crowds, machinery, and other common sources produce amounts of noise that can, with continued exposure, lead to permanent hearing loss.
The Benefits Decibel meter, DB Meter App use microphone to measure sound or noise volume in decibels (dB) and user can easily measure the current level of environmental noise.
Note:
Microphones in most devices are aligned to human voice and the maximum values are limited by the hardware. Very loud sounds (~90 dB and more) may not be recognized. Automatic gain control used in some devices may interfere with the operation of this noise meter.

If it detects noise it alerts you by making a call or sending a text message to another cell phone. It is working properly for me
