At night, enjoy Cité Mémoire’s twenty different projected tableaux created by Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon in collaboration with Michel Marc Bouchard.
Cité Mémoire is a poetic creation inspired by the history of Montreal. It will lead you to fascinating encounters with both unknown and famous personalities who bring to life the richness and complexity of Montreal through time.
Before your visit, download this application and its content (in whole, or one circuit at a time).

1 ★ great idea, horroble execution first its a navigation app tbat never asks for location permission, but is very confusion to use without it. Next, the map highlights areas to gi to, even when they are out of service. The list of issues goes on from there. Again, good idea, but frustrating, nearly evening ruining delivery.
1 ★ after being required to download a large file to open the map, each time you want to listen to a short clip on a historic location you have to download that too! takes ages and is impractical if trying to use this app walking around the city
5 ★ This app is incredible. Congratulations to all who collaborated in the creation. If you're in Old Montreal looking for a fun, free and engaging activity to do, this is a wonderful app.
5 ★ Aesthetic is great, very functional. Only thing is I wish there was a legend for what the symbols on the map mean.
1 ★ Difficult to use and understand. Unless you are a Montreal native, good luck using the map. Heavy use of large multimedia file, expect to use lots of data.

1 ★ The app navigation is unusable. They designed “fancy“ 3d mapping but the usability is atrocious: the map image constantly moves, zooming does not work well and difficult to see sites on the map (basic map usability you would expect). Why not use just standard overlays on Google maps? Second big problem is the app is a battery drainer.
1 ★ Could not figure out app. Stood at a point of interest location and could not get the app to give any information.

5 ★ An incredible feat of technology. With out a doubt, one of the greatest tourist experiences of my life. This app will take you places and teach you things you never expected. The app can be buggy and difficult, but it's worth it. A must if you want to enjoy the rich history of Montreal!
1 ★ Dreadful and cryptic. Requires massive downloads. No legend for the map icons. Cancel for downloading doesn't work.
