Description
Save Akku Power and set CPU Scaling to minimum while Screen is Off.
Set Scaling to maximum on incomming phonecall.
Set Scaling to Medium on Low Battery
With setvsel you can set Vsel OnDemand or Performance
it include a stability test to ensure you settings are stable

SetVsel 1.51 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

5 ★ I was sufferring from very slow response and freezing videos in youtube , timetaking phone calls , delays to open anything. Just then thought about rooting as my phone is 2.5 years old and running on stock 2.2.2 version. Rooted with superoneclick and installed setvsel. Fantastic. Amazing response from phone. Applications open in lightening speed. I could feel the difference. WOW. regeret for not trying this a year back. Works without issues in MB525
5 ★ I tried not to root my defy for over 6 months, hoping Motorola will release an firmware update to fix the freeze issue. Cannot wait any more!
5 ★ A Great App for MB525 no doubt :-D. I'm definitely giving a 5 start rating for you work :-). But need a update soon to work on MB526. The App installs fine but reboots when invoked. So had to uninstall. :-(
5 ★ This app is awesome for a rooted Defy! Set vm.min_free_kbytes=4096 has solved my constant freeze issues with maps and I am cruizing along at 1000mhz while undervolting and saving power. Absolutely awesome!
2 ★ every time open the app, and hit apply straight away, the phone crashes. i think the only time it doesn't is when put the cursor in the text field before hitting apply. it would be great if you could address this issue, i'll give 5 stars.
4 ★ Would give it 5 stars IF ONLY settings in the "soft screen" (dunno what else to call it... Not settings true, but the ones you access from the notification bar) were more persistent. Eg, you tell it to "limit to vsel 2", come back some time later, and it's not doing it... Apart from that, STELLAR app! Every Defy user SHOULD HAVE IT! They're missing out big-time on the potential for their Defy otherwise.
5 ★ This helped greatly with freezing (not only in maps) and battery life! Unrooted Defy on 2.2. What is Motorola doing? Won't buy Motorola again!
