Most Muslims, especially the pilgrims, know well the black stone (Hajar Aswad) which is located in the corner of Yamani, the Kaaba. Some of them even kissed the Black Stone. Stone which has historical value in the development of Islam, since the time of the Prophet Ibrahim (AS) until the time of the Prophet Muhammad.

At first, Allah ordered Prophet Ibrahim AS to build the Ka'bah (Surat al-Baqarah [2]: 125-128). The Kaaba is the first place of worship built in the world of QS Ali Imran [3]: 96-97). As mentioned in his book Qishash al-Anbiyaa (the story of the Prophets and Apostles), Ibn Kathir explained, when the construction of the Ka'bah was almost complete, and there was still an empty space to cover the wall, Ibrahim said to his son, US Ismail, to look for stones , so that the empty space can be immediately covered.

'' Go you look for a good stone for me to place in one corner of the Ka'bah as a marker for humans. ''

Ismail went from one hill to another to find the best stone. While searching, the angel Gabriel came to US Ismail and gave him the best black stone (Hajar Aswad). He gladly accepted the stone and immediately brought the stone to give to his father. Prophet Ibrahim AS was happy and kissed the stone several times.

Then Ibrahim AS asked his son, "Where did you get this stone?" US Ismail replied, "I got this stone from what did not burden my granddaughter and granddaughter." Ibrahim Ibrahim kissed the stone again and was followed by US Ismail . That is, until now many have hoped to be able to smell the stone named Hajar Aswad.

In Ibn Kathir's book mentioned, when Ibrahim ordered Ismail to look for the stone, Ismail felt very tired. "O father, I feel lazy and tired." Ibrahim said, "Let me search." Then he went and met Gabriel who brought the black stone from India. Previously, the stone was white like a gem.

Adam took him when he came down from heaven. The stone turns black because of human sins. Then, Ismail came with a stone, but he had seen a stone on one side of the Kaaba.

Ismail said, "O my father, who brought this stone." Ibrahim replied, "The one who brings it is the one who is more active than you." (our practice), verily You are the Hearing, the Knower. "(Surat al-Baqarah [2]: 127).
