Description
Rydo allows you to pay via the app with a stored credit card, or you can choose to pay direct to the driver. You can choose a maxi taxi, a station wagon, or a premium ride.
You can book a taxi immediately via the Rydo app, or prebook a taxi for later. You can prebook a taxi when heading to the airport, or that important business meeting.
When you prebook a taxi it works much the same as an instant booking, there are just a few more steps. and your driver will let you know when they are ready.
Using Rydo you can book a taxi right now, or conveniently prebook a taxi for a later date
Our t**** are driven by professional drivers with 24 hour security cameras. You will always know the driver who picks you up.

1 ★ Used app first time. As soon as I sat in taxi drive charged my account $52.50 saying once we get to destination I will refund you the rest. He was driving 60 on the highway where it's 100. Then when we arrived to my house it clearly showed $36 for fair. When I asked for a refund in difference in price he said that's for booking fee. This is robbery. If I don't get a refund back I will contact my bank to get a charge back. Will never use this service again!
1 ★ Useless. Quoted a price of $72 for a trip that ended up $150 on the meter. Felt so sorry for the driver (who had to pay Rydo $12 out of the $72) that I gave him a large tip to make up some of the difference). Half way through the app told me that my trip was complete and told the driver that I'd cancelled and not to pick me up. Will uninstall and go back to using Uber.
1 ★ Wretched app. It literally can't get a taxi half the time. I doesn't show the location of the driver when it CAN get a taxi, and it charges $50 for ride booked with a "fixed price" of $22. NEVER use this, not even for the "free" rides they promise. Uber is cheaper and actually works.
1 ★ Useless app and useless drivers, pre book a trip and then receive a call from the driver saying that they have another trip and want you to cancel or wait 30 minutes. On one instance I received confirmation that the driver was to arrive in 30 minutes, 10 minutes my pre booked time.
1 ★ Does not work without enabling Google's privacy destroying location service. What's wrong with GPS FFS? Now they expect me to provide them with tech support! How much more clear can I be? Does not respect privacy or the time of their (not) users. Avoid.
1 ★ I used it once in Sydney last year with no worries but every time oI've tried using it since March 2018 in Melbourne it will let me book and wait but then I kept getting an error message saying that the order could not be completed and necessitating a change of plans. Not good enough!
1 ★ (Seems like previous review has been removed) This is literally the worst app you can use for any car service, customer service is also the WORST i have ever experienced i got double charged and still in a week they havent managed to even make contact with me after multiple phone calls and emails, you get no response from the emails at all i messaged the facebook page and atleast got a reply but still nothing has been sorted, beyond dissapointed with this, dont waste your time with rydo.
1 ★ Australia's taxi app? Really? Any wonder the taxi drivers are struggling! Couldn't find a taxi in my local area - I live in the middle of the city - and the other App I used finds me a taxi straight away. And at 4am this should be easy... Very disappointed.
1 ★ Don't waste your time with this app. Drivers will still expect payment, despite setting up payment through the app. Despite booking a wagon, they still sent a sedan, wasting our and the drivers time. And no, I'm not contacting your team, sort it out yourself!
1 ★ Asks me to download the latest app after just downloading the app and it won't work. I have retried downloading and it still give me the same message to update to the latest version. Pity as I would like to be able to book!
1 ★ Useless. Added my card, went to book a ride and it said my card details were incorrect. Went to check if they were correct, and it said my account was now suspended and the app became unusable. Why? Not happy.
4 ★ I like the service where it's available (Canberra not so good last time I tried), but the app has stopped working on my phone, which is now listed as an incompatible device (Oppo CHP 1831).
4 ★ Not a bad app, love that I know how long until my ride arrives. Only criticism is there is no way to leave instructions or Contact the driver Otherwise great app
1 ★ couldn't edit or select payment methods, can't order and prepay a ride after hours. my account is also suspended before even being able to use the service
1 ★ Tried it to pre-book taxi to airport and driver canceled last minute had to arrange a different way. Worst experience ever
