Description
Prerequisites:
- Turbo NAS (with Surveillance Station V5.1.0.2 or a later version) or VioStor NVR running V5.1.0 or above
- Surveillance Station need to be enabled on QNAP Turbo NAS
Major features of Vmobile
1.Support monitoring several servers/channels from thousands of network cameras of different brands by simply connecting to any available Turbo NAS (with Surveillance Station enabled) or VioStor NVR on the network.
2.Support advanced monitoring features, such as adjustable display mode, PTZ and preset position control, instant notification of alarm events, and snapshot.
3. Can playback recording data from different monitoring channels and by different alarm events.
App permissions
Vmobile 3.6.1 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to modify the current configuration, such as locale.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.

1 ★ This app is extremely outdated and not user friendly. Play background is limited to resolutions no one would use on their camera's anyway, and the play back quality when streaming recorded files, even over Wi-Fi, is horrendous. Get with the times.... I use the oem app from the cameras to view real time, and using qnap you pretty much are sol for reviewing recorded playback. Sad...
1 ★ Can connect local fine, see my cameras and view playback. Can't connect outside of my network at all. 0 tutorials on how to configure this for outside of your network. And the feedback button in the app does nothing.
1 ★ app doesn't connect to server, can't locate, can't connect via cloud, and qnap has known Abbott the problem for months. renders any purpose of camera at remote site useless. why buy licenses for cameras that you can't see away from home? can't connect on local lan either! blueiris, here i come

1 ★ I try to use remote connections over myqnapcloud, but I it doesn't work there is not a good manual or support I can only check the canera when I am on my internal network

1 ★ Pure garbage just like surveillance station. It's like a troop of monkeys smashed at a keyboard for half an hour. Qnap should be ashamed with the quality of their apps.
