Description
The iParadox app gives users instant, continual remote access to their property security system turning any Google device into a remote touchscreen.
iParadox provides lots of functionality and information at your fingertips. The multi-lingual iParadox has an intuitive user-interface which enables you to easily connect to your security system and edit its settings. Great features include MultiSite and ByPass Zone tools.
Exclusive to iParadox for Android are the following exciting features:
- Vibrate or Sound upon alarm
- Portrait and landscape mode support
- Faster connection to site(s)
- Can run in background; allowing users to perform other tasks
- Zone view types for system/zone status and bypassed zones are remembered
- Can use a language that iParadox supports even if the device does not support it
- Faster/easier navigation between screens; user can tap on screen to go forward/backward instead of using button or keys
- More web-like interface with less dialog pop-ups
iParadox for Android is supported by Android V1.6 and higher, and is compatible with Paradox EVO192 (V2.20 or higher) and all MG5000, MG5050, SP4000, SP5500, SP6000, SP65, and SP7000 systems. Note that for iParadox to function properly, your security system must include the IP100 Internet Module V5.10 or higher or the IP150 Internet Module V1.0.
You can use iParadox for:
Security System Controls
- If you forget to arm the system before you leave, you can do it remotely
- To remotely disarm the system to allow service professionals to enter a property
- Receive automatic email notification if there is an alarm
- Receive notification when the system is disarmed, like when the kids arrive home from school
- See the current status of the alarm system
- See if any troubles have occurred in the system
NOTES:
iParadox will not push alarm status notifications. In order to see if the system is in alarm, the iParadox app must be running.

4 ★ Can overcome licence error by turning off wifi and using 3g. ##### Licence error is even worse now after latest update. Never mind resolved! Would have been 5 star if not for this. ############### Great app, but for some reason the new release disappears from my S2 every now and then and I have to reinstall at least once a week. ************* SOLVED: New release does not like to be installed to SD card. Moved to phone memory and all is well.
1 ★ Paid nearly $1000 for the security system and I have to pay for the app as well!!! It should have been free with the security system... would be good if you can integrate it so it works with smart watches too ...saves me taking out the mobile phone every time i have to arm or disarm the alarm... After the latest update I can't connect remotely to my alarm system anymore....it's useless
1 ★ Pathetic! Paid $29 for this app just to find out that all it does is switch the alarm on and off. We are in 2018, even the $50 alarms have this functionality and notify you of any alarms. *PS the $50 alarms come with a free app with support to customer's needing any further help. You have a great product but as a business may not last long with such a model in place.
2 ★ Receive licensing error everytime I use it. Most of the time used on local LAN. Bypass zones do not always load. When selecting to bypass a zone it does not always accepted.removes bypass with no warning causing false alarms
3 ★ It's outdated and provides the bare basics. There must be better systems out there. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it as I have the MG5050 alarm panel.
2 ★ App has limited functionality in Android 8.1. Accessing from external network no longer works, zones don't list. (Using a mg5050 & ip150 as hardware). Only good for bypassing zones when on the same network
1 ★ Aug25, App can't connect to ip150 module no matter how many times it's un/re installed. No response from app developer!! Now it's WORTHLESS!! Aug 2016, updated Evo192 FW & now the app crashes when connecting to my system. Uninstall and reinstall. Issue with false Licence not recognised warning still appears 90℅ of the time.
3 ★ app is good but I can't access it when I'm not attached to my home Wi-Fi which is a huge problem. won't allow me to set alarm even when I'm using my own data...
1 ★ I have this app for my house in Slovakia. Problem is, that its not stable. Very often there is some troubles with: time setting, "time out"is app's nick name, IP module is off or impossible to log in. Now i found an alternative and look...original is not working but alternative YES. I have no idea how its possible:-(
5 ★ Worked ok for a couple of weeks, now worthless as always get connection timeout error. So paid a lot for an app and alarm system that is practically useless for me as I need to remotely connect to turn alarm on and off due to dog being in house who is scared of the button beeps when using it manually.
1 ★ This app frustrates us. We require access to manage false alarms when not home and then it just hangs for ages. We tried to contact Paradox who won't confirm any server issues. What is going with this app? We have re-installed numerous times and still it just hangs and loads and then crashes.
3 ★ Must be logged in to see alarms which is just useless. Fine to Arm and disarm remotely if you forget and also to see which zones are open/closed. For this app to be of any benefit, future versions need push events / alarms.
2 ★ Very buggy and unresponsive. Better free alternatives out there. Expected more from Paradox. Edit: testing new version now.
3 ★ This is a good app when you are logged in, but it would be better if the app did push notifications to notify me of activations, not relying on my neighbors having to phoning me. Please sort out the push notifications. Cheers
2 ★ As for a paid app, I do not get what it supposed to do. No valid license error makes this app unusable.
