Description
The app is very light (~1MB, like a typical mobile phone photo), works offline and uses no data bandwidth
More than 42 calculations spread across 26 calculators:
- SPL (sound pressure level). Enter sensitivity in dB SPL, power, number of loudspeakers, phase and distance
- SPL sum
- Air absorption attenuation for a given humidity, temperature, frequency and distance
- Ceiling speaker coverage
- Time «» Distance
- Audio frequency «» Wavelength (includes lambda/2 and 2*lambda/3 for line arrays or subwoofer arrays)
- Line Array transition distance (near field to far field)
- In-line (end-fire, gradient) array simulation with left/right mirroring
- Broadside (line) subwoofer array modelling with electronic or mechanical arcing and steering as well as end-fire/gradient(cardioid) lines
- dBu «» dBV «» Volts
- Q «» B/W (bandwidth)
- Limiter threshold (and times)
- Amplifier gain
- Speaker cable: low impedance, high impedance (constant voltage line, 70V/100V). Calculates energy and level loss, system damping factor

1 ★ This app says it needs access to my camera. Why? Tried to contact the developer via "Feedback", but there seems to be a problem with his email verification system that proves I am not a robot. I followed the instructions, but it just sent another verification email.

3 ★ All very good having all the calculators. Very useful. But, the interface is just too slow to use in a gig situation. All those fancy fades and transitions are unnecessary and distracting. Just take me to the page I want. Also, who puts an intro on a calculator app? Just wastes time and is annoying.
4 ★ At last an app for android that does a range of audio calculations. Does what it says on the tin!
4 ★ A really useful 5-star audio toolkit, but spoiled by the interface - unlike the website version you have to go through 6 screens before you get to the calculators - similar apps like ElectroDroid take you to the calculator you want with a single touch.
