Description
Indian women wear henna to beautify themselves besides wearing jewelry and makeup. Usually used everyday to add harmony with their husbands. Mehndi is also used in important events such as weddings, special ceremonies and so forth.
For example, in the case of marriage, two or three days before the wedding day, the bride must attend a mehndi or mehndi party held with family and friends.
At the party the bride's hand will be decorated with mehndi (henna) from fingertips to elbows, and in legs from toe to knee. Then the bridegroom's name will be written hidden in between the mehndi which is installed then will be used as quiz game to search the name of the candidate.
The game was held before the wedding began. In the game the groom must find first where his name is hidden. Sometimes the bridegroom is also decorated with mehndi.
