Description

Close the Flip Cover case and the screen turns off. Open the Flip Cover Case and the screen turns on.

That's the way it should be and now it's here.

Tested on Galaxy S7 and Nexus 5X

Currently not compatible with non-Samsung ROMs (AOSP/CM)

IMPORTANT: If your case is black or dark on the inside, the sensor may not read correctly when the case is closed. To fix this, put a piece of light colored tape on the inside of the case where it lines up with the sensor (located next to the front camera)

If you have a Note II and you're experiencing high battery use: turn off "Reduce Sensitivity" I'm working on a fix.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. Does it use a lot of battery?
A. On my test phones, it comes in around 0.3-0.5% per hour depending on usage.

Q. Is the sensor on all the time?
A. It can be, if you don't want it to be then try Night Disable or Limited Screen On to disable it.

Q. Is that bad to leave the sensor on all the time?
A. No, the sensor is just a passive light sensor paired with an LED. It's ok to let the LED run.

Q. Can my phone still reach the "Deep Sleep" state?
A. Yes.

Q. Sometimes the screen takes a little bit longer to turn on after opening the case, is something wrong?
A. No, that's normal. The phone has powered down to the "Deep Sleep" mode and takes a little bit of time to wake up.

5 ★ Great application. Saves Battery 🔋

5 ★ I use this app with an S4 enclosed in an Otter Box. My Home Key stopped waking up the S4 screen and I couldn't find anything to tell me how to fix it. The Home Key performs its other functions fine. This app still allows me to place my S4 face down and put the screen asleep but almost instantly wake it when I flip the S4 back over. Great app,

3 ★ On a sprint GSIII works well when it's working. I get a notice at least once or 2x a day that it crashed or for some reason it just isn't running so I have to relaunch it. But other than that when its working it's well worth the $2 although Samsung should have really integrated it.

4 ★ The trial worked beautifully so I paid for the full version. Testing it on the home screen displays it doesn't work, but if there is an app in use it's fine.

4 ★ Love it! so far no problems, 4 stars for lack of settings and also would love the option to hear a noise when case is opened or closed like on the ipad

1 ★ Doesn't work with Sony Xperia Z Ultra. Not show OK button and Proximity doesn't work.

5 ★ I had a flip case at I need point in time but I took the cover off and put a led strip in the spacing. But this is awesome without a flip cover I wake my phone just by picking it up or flipping it over our pulling it out of my pocket definitely worthy of the money

4 ★ Works fine on my nexus 4 with my new lime flip case i bought for it, the screen comes on fine when the case is flipped open, but sometimes when i close the case it doesn't register it. That's with the reduce sensitivity off, so it should be better. Could do with adding a sensitivity slider or something along the lines.

2 ★ Works when it wants to. Not reliable. Shuts the phone off randomnly. Dont waste your money

4 ★ At first the app wasn't working all the time, now it works and seems to save battery too!

1 ★ I used the trial for 24 hours and LOVED it... so, I payed for full version, set it up.... and it doesn't work!!!

5 ★ So far so good on my Note 2. I just have to keep my hands away from the sensors! Works well. No complaints.

5 ★ Latest update has this app working again on my Verizon Note 2. Once again I can recommend this app.

1 ★ Only works half the time, and it destroys battery life

2 ★ Back to the old version and atleast it now sort of works again
