What the management of Islam requires is:
 In terms of management language comes from English which is a direct translation of the word management which means management, governance, or governance. While in the English Indonesian dictionary written by John M. Echols and Hasan Shadily (1995: 372) management comes from the root of the word to manage which means taking care of, managing, implementing, managing, and treating.

Ramayulis (2008: 362) states that the same meaning as the nature of management is al-tadbir (arrangement). This word is a derivation of the word dabbara (set) which is widely found in the Qur'an like the word of Allah SWT:
Meaning: He arranges affairs from heaven to earth, then (affairs) rises to him in one day whose levels are a thousand years according to your calculations (Al Sajdah: 05).

From the contents of the verses above, it can be known that Allah is the regulator of nature (manager). The order of nature is proof of the greatness of God Almighty in managing this nature. However, because humans created by Allah SWT have been cited as caliphs on earth, then he must manage and manage the earth as well as possible as God governs the universe. While management according to the term is the process of coordinating work activities so that it can be completed efficiently and effectively with and through other people (Robbin and Coulter, 2007: 8).

While Sondang P Siagian (1980: 5) defines management as the ability or skill to obtain an outcome in order to achieve goals through the activities of others.

If we look at the two management notions above, it can be concluded that management is a process of utilizing all resources through the help of other people and collaborating with them, so that common goals can be achieved effectively, efficiently and productively. Whereas Islamic Education is the process of transalizing the values ​​of Islam to students as a provision to achieve happiness and prosperity in the world and in the hereafter.

Thus the so-called management of Islamic education as stated by Ramayulis (2008: 260) is the process of utilizing all the resources owned (Muslims, educational institutions or other) both hardware and software. The utilization is carried out through cooperation with other people effectively, efficiently and productively to achieve happiness and prosperity both in the world and in the hereafter.
