LaView NET 4.7.4 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.
Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows applications to enter Wi-Fi Multicast mode.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

1 ★ Like everyone else, at some point after this app was updated, remote viewing (Laview P2P) no longer works (all i get is "network exceptions"). I got one stock response from Laview tech support, then crickets. Laview is clearly aware of this issue, but evidently making no attempt to address it. Like others mentioned, the Laview One app, while far from ideal, at least (currently) works with remote viewing, so using that as a workaround for now. Motion detection at night is all false positives.
1 ★ Lookout Antivirus detects LaView as Spyware because "This application includes an advertising SDK which may send personal information such as call logs and location to a third party. 4 ★ I have previously reported my dismay with this app, after the v4.7.1 update, however, tech support responded with an effective solution: Login to the NVR and un-check the "Stream Encryption" option for the P2P Platform, then Reboot the NVR. That seemed to have helped. I think rebooting the NVR may have been all that was needed. Give that a try, if you have been affected by the latest update.
1 ★ Well like everyone else is saying since the latest update the app is no longer functional. I've tried rebooting the NVR a few times, I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, and I've tried re-adding my system info to the app several times but nothing. I get the same network exception message everyone else is getting. The NVR's motion detection has never worked other than spamming my email with a thousand emails over the course of a few hours but I was willing to deal with that. Now I can't even view my cameras remotely, what a joke of a company! I wish I would of just set my money on fire and saved myself the aggravation.
3 ★ Updates tend to break things (push notifications at the least can no longer be set up, resulting in a push token error with the September update.) The DVR is good, but HIGHLY advise you don't autoupdate this app as previous versions aren't available and the tech support is nearly nil.
1 ★ cant get the online features to work. enter all info nothing works. try the QR scan to connect... nothing. it just simply does not work. cams and recorder work but I bought this for the online stuff. fix it you lazy lint lickers.
1 ★ Todays update totaly messed everything up. Cameras say my user account is frozen. Keep getting network exception errors. Does not work at all anymore. Why mess up something that already worked great. Please revert to previous version.
1 ★ This recent update wiped out my P2P, I can't view remotely. So when I get robbed I'll send the bill to LAview. Great screw up, hey an IT department that knows how to program.
1 ★ This app sucks and La View sucks. Overpriced and garbage. The security system randomly turns on NAT, their DDNS service is non-functional. Their app is garbage. I want to go back in time to their previous app because each revision unintentionally removes functionality because nothing works anymore. Each "update" introduces more problems and does the equivalent of putting a band-aid on a open wound to older problems. As of now the Android version of this app has network issues with basic login. Too afraid to update the iPhone app because if I know La View it's going to break everything.
1 ★ Unacceptable. Upgraded App cleared all settings without any warning. Now I am without connectivity to a device that is 500 miles away!
3 ★ It's ok. Cameras are displaying fine, but LaView needs to remove their spyware. After security app scans, Lookout constantly pops up messages that this app has spyware & should be uninstalled. Please remove spyware!
1 ★ The app was working. Then started saying calling reached the upper limit. I have reinstalled the app. I have tried logging in and out. The web has no solutions for the problem. The app is currently unusable.
1 ★ Poorly written app. Cant register P2P account through app (Error 41) and no way register online. Stay away from LAView
1 ★ the camera itself is good. But the app SUCKS BIG TIME. Hard to configure it for your phone. difficult to understand why it wont show you live stream over your phone and wont even stream using 4 LTE. Its Almost useless
4 ★ Had and issue with the app after the update and i noticed others did too. I messaged them and they told me what to do and it worked. You have to re-register your device and it will work.
