3 ★ Love this app and it is helping me a lot. Wish it had in-built gre calculator for the real experience. Would have given 5 stars but I have been facing one problem constantly. If I try to use my phone's calculator or close the app by accident it crashes and loses all the progress on the on-going quiz :( Also, cannot add schools when I want to.
4 ★ I keep seeing math processing error in the practice questions of the quantitative part. I haven't been able to solve those questions and it's affecting my scores. HOW DO I FIX THIS? I have mailed the developer since and he/she is yet to respond. Not good at all! 😡
1 ★ Cannot see most math related questions. Instead of what I assume should be math expression, it shows only "[math processing error]".
2 ★ Better off using a book. The practice sets are way more advanced then the theory. Doesn't prepare you properly to complete the practice questions and gives you a real vague introduction. Basically, the purpose of the app is to try and entice you to pay for their courses, which are really overpriced. Also, doesn't even have the program I'm applying to at University of Florida and while it allows you to click "add a school", it never updates.
5 ★ The app really helped a lot to prepare for the GRE! With a little around 30 days only until the test, I paid the subscription for 1 month, dedicated about an hour every day for the exercises, learned new vocabulary during my daily commute, and I was able to increase my expected grade in 20 points :) My final grade was really good, and similar to what the app predicted. Only bad thing: there's no one-month subscription available for the web app, and I was limited to use mobile only :(
3 ★ UPDATE: I chose the monthly recurring payment option as i only had one month before test day. MAKE SURE you know how to cancel this...luckily i did my payment through paypal, but they refuse to respond and i couldnt find information from them anywhere. After the test, i think some of the questions were comparable but i completed the course and during test day...well, i was not prepared. The app estimates scores quite a bit higher that what is earned. I initially really liked this app and would have given it 5 stars, but recently it has been crashing every single time I go to use my calculator, which is kind of important for most of the math problems, and makes progress nearly impossible and extremely annoying. However, this did not occur until halfway through the course. I think the content, When working properly, is very helpful they just need to fix these problems and work out these bugs.
5 ★ I've tried couple more, but and so far, I this is the best app. The questions are closer to what the actual GRE and the question revision allows you to take a look of the theory behind it. It also measures your time per question and splits the question sections in small groups, and so you understand better your performance. Great, and great app!
4 ★ Great for studying if you already know the basics of GRE. One issue is the lack of randomization in question types during tests. Can pick a 20 question test and it will only use two types of questions. Work on making sure the app actually tests a good breadth everytime would be nice.
5 ★ So far, it's been a thrilling journey. A brilliantly made app, kudos to the devs.
5 ★ Such an amazing app to have while prepping for the GRE. I can use it during work breaks and for short study sessions. In-depth answers and explanations, various vocabulary cards to study, and a personalized path for you to meet your GRE goal! It also encourages you to link with schools you are interested in and rates you on a leaderboards as extra initiative to complete sections! So thankful I found it!
4 ★ Im paying $9.99 for a moth subscription. I do like the app. I havent taken my GRE yet, so I cant say how effective it is, but the questions and explanations they give seeem helpful. The reason why Im giving 4/5 is that while the extra features are all nice they will sometimes have a dated feel. Like being given the choices of (2017, 2018spring, 2018fall, or 2019). It makes me worried that I should be using an app thats kept more up to date. Still, Im enjoying this more than my books.
5 ★ Content is fantastic. However, I think the indicative mastery level is a little too optimistic.
2 ★ cannot do the math problems! Every question involving math has the math-y bits replaced with [math processing error] in bright red letters. For questions and answer choices! The other features seem to work fine, but zero math!
2 ★ Many question shows mathematical processing error instead of data for calculation. You guys should fix this asap.
5 ★ IT'S a great app. people state that once they pay things are still locked. I bout the $9.99 month pacakge. everything is unlocked on mine. I like the repetitive questions. it allows me to practice over and over again.
