Explore the digitalisation of Gearbox production in the Model Factory at Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).
Watch material flow for gearbox production, see information flow between individual machines and the Manufacturing Intelligent Control Room, or even tap individual testbeds to reveal some basic information.
Simply point your mobile device to the 2D Map of the ARTC workshop, and watch the stations come to life.

Factory Tour:
This AR experience is exclusive to the ARTC factory. Various unique markers are placed throughout our factory, each one offering an insight into that machine. For ease of navigation, a map is provided within the app to help locate the machines.
Simply select your machine of choice, navigate to it, find & scan its marker!

ARTC Model Factory AR 3.0 APK requires following permissions:

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows applications to enter Wi-Fi Multicast mode.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
