Detractors say that it categorizes against young people and oversteps their human rights, while supporters claim that making the Mosquito Repellent Prank illegal would trespass the rights of shopkeepers who suffer business losses when "rowdy teenagers" drive away their customers. Mosquito Repellent Prank distributors have said that they keep standards to ensure that the device is not abused.
