Description
NOTE: ParentVUE Mobile for the Android phones is a free application for parents and guardians using the ParentVUE web portal.
How to find District URL:
The ParentVUE Mobile app uses the same user login as the web-based ParentVUE portal. If you need help
please contact your School District’s Administration office for access URL and ParentVUE login information.
Requirements:
• Only school districts using the Synergy™ student information system version 6.5 and higher can support the ParentVUE for the Android phones application.
• Requires wireless or 3G Internet connection.
• The ParentVUE Mobile for the Android phones app uses same user login as the web-based ParentVUE portal. Please contact your School District’s Administration office to verify Synergy™ version and ParentVUE login information.
App permissions
ParentVUE 8.8.6 APK requires following permissions:
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

1 ★ Since update unable to open pdf files sent by teacher thru app. Always says corrupt. Company pushed to school district. School pushes to company. What happened to regular emails from schools before expensive systems like this???

1 ★ Ever since the beginning January I can't access my account on the app. It keeps saying invalid ID and/or password. I'm able to use the sams sign in credentials and login using a web browser. Please fix the app, its much easier to navigate the app as opposed to a web browser.

1 ★ I'd give this negative stars if I could. Teachers are relying too much on this app for parents to stay in contact. If I wasn't required to use this, it would be history by now. I keep getting the error message that "this app is currently unavailable". What's the point of downloading this app then? Total waste of space.
1 ★ The app crashes every time I try to use it. It's completely useless and I can't check my child's grades at all. I've tried troubleshooting but my husband has the same issue on his phone so it's not just me. Reading the other reviews shows me that a lot of people are having issues. TO THE DEVELOPER- UPDATE THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE APP. Parents have enough to be dealing with right now, we don't need to add your shoddy QA work to the mix
1 ★ Update 11/02/20- updated app, but it will not stay open! 08/15/20- App opens. I can see my kids' profiles. Closed automatucally when I clicked down arrow on Report Card page. Update 06/08/20- App still does not work. When I try to login, app immediately closes. So incredibly disappointing. Took off another star because issue isnt fixed Used to work awesome and I used it all the time. Today it would not open, so I checked for an update, completed the update, and it still won't open.
1 ★ I've been trying for over a month to receive a code to enter the app, since I had triubles my my passwords, and the app is not even sending me an email to be able to use it and look at my kids performance in school. I uninstalled it twice and installed it again to see if I could start all over again and it is just not useful. If you miss ir forget your username and password you're done with the app. Nothing else to do.
1 ★ I downloaded the app at the request of my childrens school, entered my login info, and it doesn't proceed. It just kicks me out. This happened the whole day. I uninstalled today, tried again, and still got the same results. I just want to read my kids progress reports! Very frustrating and disappointing app.
1 ★ The app was doing ok and I got a new phone. It worked for a short time now I can see emails but can't open either childs gradebook etc. I get a error code. I have sent a ticket to them. I uninstalled still same thing. My iPad is working ok.
1 ★ I used to love this app but now every time I try to log in I just get some error code. I can't even log in online because I get the same error code. So now I am unable to track my child's work and it's frustrating
1 ★ I've noticed on the actual internet website it is bookmarking a different site now, and tells you to update to the new website. I'm wondering if this ap needs an update also because it no longer works for me since they went on winter break, Dec 20th or so.
