Description
Tuscany Demo from Oculus Rift SDK for Android
Welcome to Tuscany!
Explore the beautiful Tuscany using the OpenDive / Dive glasses.
In this demo, you can move with a controller. Alternatively, you can look on the ground to activate or deactivate the auto-walk.
With a touch on the screen you can turn on more graphic effects. But therefore a powerful smartphone is required! A realistic impression is created by the use of headphones, and without disturbing ambient light.
The level is from the Oculus SDK and it is designed for more computing power than a smartphone can offer. So the frame rate can suffer.

5 ★ wow!!! Need more updates
2 ★ NYC... game.. ND it's vry interesting ..
5 ★ best game ever
5 ★ This is a beautiful app as it is and the imagery is amazing. This alone makes it a good experience but not an incredible experience. However...using my cheap red samurai controller, I found a glitch that lets you jump over the wall using the "4" button. It takes a little bit of finagling but eventually in the right spots and consistently pressing that button you can jump over the wall! This is where the game goes from good to absolutely kick butt awesome. So yea, at that point you can explore the villages and the surrounding landscape as well. I could seriously spend hours playing this app because of that glitch. I have no idea why the developers didn't include this in the game to begin with.
5 ★ Very clever using google cardboard, samsung S4. My 5 year old naturally used stop/ start walking to get good viewing angles. Was amazing. I felt sea sick when moving fast sometimes, but thats just me and VR, and fairground rides.
5 ★ This is a relatively simple environment to explore, but I think it is one of the best examples of what this technology is capable of. My galaxy S5 can only handle the "high" graphics setting at certain points and it always lags at very high settings.
3 ★ Im on my Lg K10 using the vr shinecon bluetooth controller i can move forwards and backwards but cant turn around i had to walk backwards to get in the house just guessing where the door was i dont have gyroscope on this phone but read the app was still usable since it required a controller.
5 ★ Fantastic app. I bought a cheap Bluetooth controller and can now jump in the game. At the side of the villa there's a big tree and some barrels. I jumped up against the tree which lifted me up and then I was over the wall. The whole village is fun to explore, then I fell into the water. Underwater is like being back up the hillside. Then I fell over that hill and into the sky, where I'm still falling. Very surreal but very cool! I hope you guys add more to the experience beyond the villa itself.
5 ★ One of the first VR apps I downloaded and still love going back to it, to have a look around. Has anyone else made it over the wall? I have. Your able to walk around and go down to the water. Probably not supposed to be able to but hey its great that you can. Really recommend it.
4 ★ Simple experience with nice graphics. The sound really adds to the immersion. However the sensor noise is quite poorly handled which makes the app a little shaky. Also the walking speed is a little too fast. Maybe it could slow down near objects like doors, walls, trees, etc.
5 ★ I realise this may not be seen but i REALLY love this app, its the best app ever! I would really really really love it if yous can make an app the same just with a different house and different views! I would download every one yous make! I dont really have friends so this is the best thing ever to keep my brains happy 😊😊😊
4 ★ I can enable all graphics. Using the $13 SUNNYPEAK Bluetooth controller, in game mode, you can walk around, and jump. I finally jumped over the wall, and visited the next village!
3 ★ This is a very artistic and beautiful looking design. But the controls!... Why do we have to look down every time we want to run/walk? Magnet is the perfect thing to use for that (hold to walk). We can look down for changing graphics.
5 ★ Using Google cardboard v2. 0 I was able to use it. No controller is needed. Look down to stop walking and again to start. Don't try the HD version as it may not work on your phone at all.
5 ★ No updates since 2014? That's bad, but it's a demo I guess. Would be nice to see more content. Works nice and smooth. Note 4 T-Mobile.
