Download the latest impcat application, version 1.2.5, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Personalization app is developed by Design Bench – Immersive Agency and is easy to download and install.

Description
This tool gives you a variety of miniature images that you can select and then paint with colours you own or perhaps wish to purchase. It works with predefined colour palettes, using names and values as promoted by their manufacturers.
To achieve a high quality result the system simulates a four step painting process:
Base colouring, layering, shading and highlighting.
Features:
- A list of 6 biult-in miniatures, provided by Artel "W".
- A list of built-in colour palettes, containing Vallejo Model Color and Vallejo Game Color (308 colours in total).
- Access to miniature template and colour palette DLCs that instantly get updated as soon as we upload new content (completely free, no micro-transactions of any kind).
- An complement recommendation mode that lets you select a base colour and then automatically applies harmonizing layer, shade and highlight paints, which you can then customize at will.
- A photorealistic simulation of the applied paints.
- A shopping list generator that collects the data of all applied colours and gives you the links to the corresponding shop pages.
- A colour mixer tool (to mix predefined paints in multiple steps)
- A colour creator tool (to create and collect your own colours)
- A randomiser tool that randomly distributes colours across a model

3 ★ Decent, however be warned. There are some strange changes to how certain colors come out on the models, and there's not a huge selection
1 ★ The app is not very intuitive, you have download, upload, and import files from your computer onto your phone to get the app to work properly. The model selection is extremely limited, even after you download these third party files to upload into the app from your computer. If I could give this app a 0 I would. For $5 and all the frustration and work you have to put in to getting this to work properly you could easily just paint up a couple test models to try out paint schemes
4 ★ Love the app, could use access to other paint groups (army painter, Citadel, ect.)
4 ★ There's a promise of adding more models and paints so that will be great and I love the overall feel and idea. One critical feature would easily bump up the quality is a save option. It might take 20 minutes to plan out a scheme and then you get to do that every time you want to reference it. I would also like to see some more painting style options such as being able to make the highlighting thicker or maybe even adding a dry drybrush option. Added the save so I added a star to my review.
4 ★ Okay, I really like this app. Sure you have to download some models but it is very easy to do so. But I have a bug that someone can hopefully help me with. I will have a model that I am about to paint, but then for no reason it all goes silver and I can't do anything until I refresh the model. Also none of the metallics are working and all of them are silver. Again I really like this app I just need a little help if available, thanks!
5 ★ Pretty happy with this so far and as a general tool/ guide its great. Realistically there's not going to be every mini on the market on here, at least just yet. But there are plenty of colours about and configurations out there to download which is great! Has the idea of opening a new project on the app with every change being auto saved been mentioned? Just to save an accidental wipe of content. Keep up the great work
4 ★ Honestly a fantastic app. It's quite community based, so you'll have to get a little involved in the subreddit and such to get the full use out of it. My only advice is that you check out if it's going to work on your phone. I upgraded to a new one and the app doesn't work at all. That doesn't take away from how amazing the app was back when I could use it, definitely recommend it.
2 ★ Mostly good, but won't let me import more colours. I've been trying to import Citadel colours, but every time I just get an error saying something has gone wrong. No telling me of what's wrong or how to fix it. Unfortunately this makes it almost useless for me as Vallejo isn't as accessible here for me, but Citadel paints are.
5 ★ I stumbled across this app by happenstance while looking for any new 40k games. This app is incredible! I will never paint my mini's the same again! My only wishes ( and maybe these exist already and I haven't found them) are that we could save region groups for later (when multi selecting) and that we could save a "paint scheme" in a pallet or something so I don't have to reselect the same 4 paints if I miss a region. But this app is great. I'd easily pay more for this app than I did.
1 ★ I couldn't import any svg files. Impcat only comes with about 14 models, obviously not from the big companies. When I found you had to download svg files, I thought there would be tons but again there were only 58. I downloaded them directly to my tablet and struggled to even find out how to import them, then no matter where I moved them, Impcat wouldn't recognise them. I followed instructions on Reddit, downloaded the files to my PC and moved them over to the tablet and still ... nothing. It's apps like this that discourage me from paying money for any app. They're poorly written, unsupported junk.
4 ★ Overall appearance of the app is straight forward and clean. The app offers paint selection from only one brand at this time with 4-5 custom miniatures to detail. Depending on your phone going through the options will be slow. The app shows promise to make it easier to imagine without having to use your own paints but lacks variety and speed.
1 ★ Honestly, this app is not worth it. Firstly, the app forces me to download more miniatures and half of them I don't use, meaning I am forced to spend hours making a design and downloading new software. Secondly, you lose everything as soon as you tab out, meaning you have to restart all over again. They also don't even have games workshop paints, meaning I won't know how my design would look, it's not worth the money or the time, don't buy this.
5 ★ Even in it's early stage, this is FANTASTIC. Hopefully we'll see some more paint lines like Citadel and Army Painter as time goes on, but even with it only containing Vallejo paints it isn't that hard to look at a paint compatibility chart. love this app.
4 ★ After update all my imported templates and colors are gone. Seems unfortunate for free app for a paid product unacceptable. All saved configuration I been working on are gone as well. If there is an Android system limitation - additional tool importing old data should be written and added to package. Otherwise it is a bad customer service.
4 ★ Sooo! Ill take that back. Turns out i didnt use it correctly. Except from different types of shading/washes it seems it have all you need. Very good. I could use a list of the different layers i can select.. but clicking on the miniature works fine for most of it.
