Alien DVR Mobile Client 4.0.2 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to modify the current configuration, such as locale.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.
Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

1 ★ This app has been working fine until the latest update. In common with many reviewers, I now have an app that shuts itself down immediately. Same happened to my wife first. I deleted the app from her phone and reinstalled from Play Store. After inputting all the details her app was back. I tried the same on my phone. No good.
5 ★ *Update* The response time to my email was outstanding and the guys have rectified the problem for the time being. Brilliant guys thank you. Since last update around 28th July 2019 it will not open on my Galaxy S10. The timing couldn't be worse as I am away and can't see what the wife is upto.
4 ★ Worked fine until update. Stopped working on two phones and a tablet so no use at all. Bring back the old version or please fix. Had quick reply. A different version now on play store. Uninstall Rd update and reinstalled from play store. this seems to have resolved the problem as its an older version.

5 ★ a recent samsung phone update stopped my alien dvr app working, a simple uninstall and rhen reinstall the app has worked. think the app has back dated to an older version 4.01 you will need to input your details again so make sure you have them to hand. Crw
