Description
Wirelessly stream movies, view & import photos, listen to music & podcasts, and view/transfer documents stored on your AirStash. The AirStash app is an enhanced alternative to the built-in web interface adding features only possible with a native app.
FEATURES
The AirStash app provides simple access to your AirStash device and adds requested extra features including:
Video:
• Play video files supported by your Android device
Photo:
• View photos directly from AirStash
• Import individual photos or a directory of photos at native or reduced resolution
• Export feature allows you to select photos from your camera roll to export to AirStash
• Slideshow viewer to auto-step through directory of photos
Audio:
• Play non-DRM audio files supported by your Android device
• Auto-play next audio file in directory
Documents & Other File Types:
• Upload documents/files
• Download documents/files
• Open documents/files in other apps
NOTE
The AirStash app can transfer all file types. It is up to the device OS or third party software to decode and display all the various file types. File type support varies between device manufacturers, OS versions, and third party apps.

AirStash 3.2.4 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows applications to enter Wi-Fi Multicast mode.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows an application to call killBackgroundProcesses(String].
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

1 ★ My Samsung tablet can see the files but won't play them,, it crashes,,, but it's ok with my HTC phone
1 ★ This app seems to have been developed by my aunt Sally. Connects, then doesn't. It has no comparison to the iOS app, which works seamlessly. For android don't bother, use ES File explorer via WebDAV.
1 ★ Cannot use as samsung s5 cannot find it when scanning. Just hangs. Would like to give it 0 stars.
1 ★ My Nexus 5X can no longer see my Airstash. The iPad to Airstash app still works fine. Problem must be only in the Android version.

4 ★ I love the app and the device for its simplicity & efficiency .. but it will really be useful only when we are able to select and transfer multiple files and folders at once. Right now it supports only one file transfer at a time. Looking forward for this enhancement ...

3 ★ The app is considerably good as it has all the features from the iOS version except the movies section,,,in the iOS version you Can watch any other format that it is not supported by the OS by using VLC media player while in the android version you have to cache the file in order to view it and this is so inconvenient as it will use so much space of my limited device storage so please add the option of choosing which app to use to open the file,,Other than that the app looks good,,,Please fix that ASAP.
3 ★ Does everything the way it is designed to, could be made to move folders to and from the airstash as it doesn't do it currently.Could do with a sleeker icon too as the current one looks dated. Developer has added Sidelink which is a great feature. Airstash won't connect with chromebooks though :(
