Description
You can place the booking directly on our map, and see how many available cars there are nearby or generate a fare estimate so you know the cost of your fare before you book with us.
Not carrying any cash? Pay by credit or debit card, and avoid having to stop at the cash point along the way.
No standing in the rain. Track your car as it arrives on a map, or call the driver when nearby. No more guessing where your cab might be.
Place bookings hours, days or weeks in advance. Whenever it's convenient for you.
If necessary, cancel your booking at any time. It takes seconds to place a new booking directly from the handy favourites list.
V Cars is the largest private hire company in Bath. We have up to 300 drivers and all our vehicles are installed with the latest GPS technology.
Having integrated SMS booking, we've now launched this intelligent Android App so you can book a taxi within 3 screen taps.
V Cars Bath is FREE to download and it costs you nothing to register.

It's so easy and quick to use. Download the App and register just once. Our intelligent software will suggest your favourite Pick Up locations, and you're ready to book your a car.
When you make a booking, we'll notify you by Push Notification as your car is dispatched. We'll also inform you when your car is 2 minutes away, giving you additional details such as registration number, make, model and vehicle colour.

App permissions

1 ★ They charged me a pound and didn't say they would! only saw it because I was checking my bank account! I didn't even book a taxi yet!
1 ★ Don't expect anything like Uber for this app. I reckon about 1 in 2 bookings just remain as 'pending' for ages despite suggesting a car is 5 mins away. Very unreliable and often have to cancel after 20 mins of waiting

4 ★ good but not up to the previous Abbey taxis app standard, I try to remember to take my portable wifi with me or it doesn't work, remove grumpy and over sexed drivers please, u know who they are
5 ★ Brilliant app! Initially had an issue registering on it. Put the wrong details in so blocked me for 24 hours. Came up network connection issue but vcars explained this was just a security feature. Also when I registered my credit card it took £1.01. Again asked vcars about this it's another security feature to verify your card. The money got returned in a couple of days automatically, no big deal. Apart from that just great service so happy days!
4 ★ Love the app makes my life easier, would say it obviously needs extras added to it such as letting the company know when you booked and with plenty of notice as they only get told 10mins before and today I had an issue with no taxis available for 20mins after I'd booked (booked over an hour in advance and people calling up are getting priority rather than first come first serve basis) another great thing would be being able to rate your driver at a later time rather as soon as your out the taxis as I'm usually in a rush to get my bus and you can only rate through the notification rather than going back onto bookings.
5 ★ Very impressive, this is a great app, we have always received a great service from V cars, 5 stars!
