Explanation of app permissions:
android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS
android.permission.SET_ALARM
android.permission.VIBRATE
android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
- these are used as part of the main app to set volume of the phone.
android.permission.INTERNET
- these are used as part of the banner ads which help pay me to continue developing the app. I only use small banner ads, not intrusive notification ads.
The app also uses Google Analytics for the purposes of collecting crash reporting data.

Do Not Disturb Ringer Silencer 2.0.0 APK requires following permissions:
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
Allows an application to broadcast an Intent to set an alarm for the user.
Marker permission for applications that wish to access notification policy.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

3 ★ It does what the description describes, but sets the volume of everything to the maximum when restored.
3 ★ This app was great until the latest update. Although it still functions well. The problem is, when the app turns the sound back on after the set period of silence it maxes out all the volumes. The previous version left the volumes at their former levels. I use it on a Samsung s7 edge.
1 ★ Stopped working for me too. I really liked the simplicity of the App. Great for work meetings. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still let calls through. Oh well. Maybe the creator can get this running again but I have to move on to something else...

4 ★ I would love to see an option to remove ads. I used to use Shush! app for many years but since the new phone and Android 9, it no longer is available. This is a good alternative.
4 ★ Good app, works well. Only issue is if using Bluetooth headphones when setting the sound you get deafened by it setting the Bluetooth to full but that is easily solved and brought back to normal levels.
4 ★ The app is good, but it would be better if it had a countdown timer so you know when silent mode was initiated and how much more time is available before it ends.
3 ★ With the new update, when the phone goes into do not disturb mode, media volume gets turned all the way up. If media volume was turned down to zero, do not disturb increases it. Is there a way to either mute or not change the media volume?
2 ★ Does not work anymore. Used to be able to mute for certain hours. Recently it doesn't do that anymore. It will keep silence until I press on the app again.
1 ★ The app is great but new version has a severe bug: switching back to normal mode resets all my sound bars to max. Please fix this, the app is definitely 5/5 and highly useful.
4 ★ I've used the app for quite a while but as others have mentioned, when it turns the sound back on, it's at max volume.
4 ★ will not turn notifications back on since upgrading to Android Pie (9). Have uninstalled & reinstalled the app, but no luck. please fix, I like this app.
