Ringo: International calls 3.1.1.8 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

1 ★ Stay away from this App otherwise you'll robbed daylight. Your credit drops without you making calls by just closing and opening the App. When you try to call, there is Indian on the otherside of the phone talking with someone. Unbelievable!

1 ★ Most worthless app. Bought credit, calls do not go through, call back does call back, WiFi doesn't connect, customer support doesn't respond. What kind of word can describe such a service????? Regretting ever knowing such a shoddy piece of work

1 ★ It used to be a good app. But now its not worthy, suddenly they increased the price per call twice,how could they do that??. Moreover the first call we make to any mobile number connects but we can't hear them,we need to cut that and make again another call, is this a cheap trick for gaining money.Not only me my friend also facing the same situation. I don't even know whether they responds or not ??

1 ★ Able to make international calls however 50% of the time, you will be directed to some unknown line and end up Charing you for it. Also when up you make a top up e.g £5, you will only have a balance of about £3.8 Not satisfied at all. Don't do it!!!

3 ★ Editing review after using this for a few months. Moving rating from 5 to 3. The Android version of the app does not have recents option while iOS one has it. Looks like Android user base is conveniently ignored. Favourites are fetched only when the app is installed. Any new favourites marked on your contacts do not appears thereafter on the app. So you are forced to search the contact every time, which is annoying. Also calling rates increased without any prior notice.

1 ★ Hasn't been working for over a month despite reinstalling the app and now my account credits are stuck.

1 ★ No support available. Check their Twitter and Facebook book account. You will know I am talking about. Was travelling this month and I was not able to add a local number, tried contacting them through "chat with us" , which by the way never works, contact us and even wrote to the bloke listed as CEO, who interestingly doesn't have Ringo mentioned on his profile, for reasons best known to him. Sorry for a long post. But, in summary, stay away.

1 ★ Voice quality is not good. Rates are high. Overall waste application.

4 ★ This app amazing when you want to talk to your friends and family out of the country. This app is so convenient to and rates are way more cheap than any other calling platforms. The only trouble that I found that while you make a call using Wi-Fi you can not minimize the app and open other app which is quite frustrating. Overall the app is pretty amazing. Will definitely recommend it.

1 ★ I installed it some time ago and topped up my account. I forgot about this app. A few days ago, I decided to make some international calls from the app. And Surprise! They have removed the app from 'India', without any notification or warning and without refunding purchased credits. Their website do not list any contact form or contact email to get in touch with them and get a refund.

3 ★ Reasonably good app. Ability to conduct undisturbed coversation majority times, if one may ignore occasional feed back echo during activity. Inconsistent call rates to same country and phone number. Experienced charge/min rate increase for upto 2 times than rate at installation. Friends say, rate can go upto 2.5 times randomly. Also may reduce to very low rates. I would have preferred a consistent rate per call. Still testing the app, have not been completely satisfied to keep using it.

1 ★ App is good to use but recent update actually degrades the usability. They removed recent calls tab and also pricing is very fluctuating. Earlier UK to India was 0.24p per minute but they suddenly increased the rate to 0.95p per min. You will get better rate directly from the other telecom companies and don't need to use the app for calling.

5 ★ Ive used many providers to call back home throughout the years and ringo is the best so far. Upfront rates. No surprises. I love to be able to dial from my phone and the ringo app automatically gives me the option to dial if it recognizes I am calling an international number. It also shows me rates and lets me use wifi calling or a local number to me that automatically connects me to my desired number without me typing anything. Best app out there!

1 ★ Keeps crashing when tried making a call. Screen just hangs each time, not reliable. Hence I now use Rebtel which is much cheaper and stable

1 ★ This app and the customer service sucks big time nowadays that I have to go back using Rebtel again. I recently wiped my phone clean and freshly installed Ringo but the OTP code is not showing up even after resending the request a couple of times. When contacted the customer service, they just want me to resend the request for verification OTP which is not working for me at all. Stay away from this service if you want to save your money.
