joyn is a joyful movement app for all bodies and abilities. Inspiring, diverse and compassionate teachers share their stories and movement practices through streaming classes and original content. Classes range in length from a single mindful minute to 45-minutes of motion, all with variations to meet accessibility needs. Stream joyn from your phone, web browser or smart TV.
To access all features and content you can subscribe to joyn on a monthly basis with an auto-renewing subscription right inside the app.* In app subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of their cycle.
*All payments will be paid through your Google Account and may be managed under Account Settings after the initial payment. Subscription payments will automatically renew unless deactivated at least 24-hours before the end of the current cycle. Your account will be charged for renewal at least 24-hours prior to the end of the current cycle. Any unused portion of your free trial will be forfeited upon payment. Cancellations are incurred by disabling auto-renewal.

5 ★ Kanoa is absolutely wonderful! Doing these exercises make me feel so strong and confident. I have been having some relatively minor issues with the app itself (the search engine function randomly stopped working for me, for example) but I'm still able to navigate it well enough despite that, and the quality of the classes are such that it doesn't bother me much. Keep up the amazing work!
1 ★ I was excited about the content, but I can't get the app to work. It does not communicate with the Samsung TV at all. I am still able to cast things like YouTube, so it isn't an issue on my end. I think I will have to cancel as I can't see well enough on a small phone screen. It sounds like the devs are helping ppl either from the reviews here. Huge bummer. There is such a need for this content.
2 ★ I love this idea and it is so needed. I was willing to overlook some issues, but for me the app was unusable. All the videos wouldn't load and the app crashed all the time. Communication with the devs was useless. I wound up canceling. I really want to give another try, but recent reviews seem to indicate that nothing has improved. It's a bummer.
3 ★ "Automatically beam videos from your phone to your Chromecast or AirPlay enabled devices" This is no longer available. As well as this was available to download to a Chromecast 4 with Android TV but it was taken away. Which only makes getting to the videos harder. I have attempted nearly everything to get this working and I am unable to use the app without pulling out a laptop or using the tiny screen of my phone. I very much enjoy the service and this company but this technological fumble has been very disheartening.
2 ★ The videos are okay but the owners of the app don't answer emails if you need help. I've emailed three different times because their payment set up is acting up (even though I gave an authorized card) and no one will reply, so my account was cancelled. They don't do a very good job of keeping their customers.
1 ★ Crashes when you try to login. I even reset my password but it crashed both times I tried to login and reset my phone both times.
3 ★ It's an okay app I just wish there was a way to sort videos by length of time or at least see how long each video is without having to click the video itself. Also, some video snaps don't have titles as you're scrolling through. Particularly the meditation ones. The content itself is great but the lack of sorting options and usability of the app could be a little better.
5 ★ I honestly was scared to try a fitness app with videos because most fitness apps almost shame you for not already being skinny. So far, what i have done and seen has shown the opposite. The videos all have various people of varying body types and nobody shames anybody. It's all positive, and not in a BS way. The teachers of the different classes all enjoy what they are doing, and they genuinely make me smile and laugh, and make me feel like I am there with them as a student. 100% recommend. 👍
5 ★ This is the fitness app I've needed all my life. As someone who has long suffered with disordered eating and exercise patterns, it has been so healing to be guided through joyful, intuive movement practices without judgment or weight-loss/body shaping goals. I really appreciate the inclusivity of all abilities, gender, race and body size. Joyn is perfect!!!
1 ★ Won't load. Have tried Uninstaller and reinstalling, loading and reloading, wifi and data, power reset... Not impressed. Might take myself off.
5 ★ I love this app! No matter how I'm doing, There's something I can do. I did the bed yoga while my back was out. Gentle yoga while recovering. Dancing when I can. They've got seated options for nearly everything, including dance. I love that the instructors are my size. I'm so grateful for this. I always finish feeling positive about myself, and feeling physically better.
5 ★ I am really enjoying this App. I feel intune with the instructors because they look just like me and have similar limitations that we can work through together. Jessica is my favorite for yoga. I would also love to see more meditations. The tapping and movement type meditations are not my cup of tea. I like the long, deep, guided meditations. Most of what is available are very short. Would also love to see some Chakra work.
5 ★ Fun and easy to use! Joyn offers many different exercise programs. The instructors are delightful. You can combine workouts to create something that works best for you. Programs are different lengths, different types of movement, with a diversified group of instructors. For the price you get so much. Love it!
5 ★ I am fat and disabled and finding enjoyable ways to move my body is always a challenge. As soon as I opened this app I was smiling. So many diverse bodies and showing so many of the exercises in chairs so they can be immediately adapted to any level. This is something that I can easily incorporate into my every day life.
4 ★ Like the videos but tried to opt out after free month. Account charged even though I cancelled. No clear understanding of how to cancel subscription.
