Description
• In the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Colombian Government decided to use technology and innovation to save as many lives as possible, therefore, together with the National Institute of Health (INS), they created the CoronApp Colombia application.
• This application is one of the data sources for state decision making.
What is the purpose of CoronApp Colombia?
• Strengthen the deployment of prevention, containment and mitigation measures against COVID-19.
• Facilitate real-time monitoring of the data collected so that the INS Emergency Operations Center can act quickly and provide support in coordination with local, departmental and national authorities.
• Monitor the public health risks associated with the Coronavirus.
What can registered users do?
• Report symptoms and those of family members.
• Receive recommendations according to the state of health after making the self-diagnosis.
• Find tools to deal with quarantine in the best way.
• Obtain your mobility status through a QR code according to exceptions provided by the Colombian Government.
• Access official information on Coronavirus Cases in Colombia.
• Obtain information on health services and care lines.
Those who do not register may also use CoronApp Colombia by consulting official information, health centers, hotlines and recommendations for their care.
Why is it important that you and those around you use it?
• Reporting your health status daily, even if you feel healthy, can help track the exact moment of symptoms in you, also the process of evolution of the virus. So we can provide you with the necessary support according to your case.
• If several people in your environment also register their symptoms, we can understand the state of a certain population and the behavior of the virus in the national territory, this helps us to make better decisions in the face of the pandemic.
What are the main characteristics?
• It is a free application.
• The use of the information that you provide in CoronApp Colombia is done in compliance with the terms of use that you have accepted, the data is used only for the management of the pandemic and seeks to reduce contagion.

• The flow of symptoms is adjusted by expanding the number of questions and the dialogue of the diagnosis result.

• Self-diagnosis is improved, more recommendations are added in the Report Symptoms section, new attention lines are added, the service for displaying figures is improved.

• The family registration form is updated to identify only relatives living in the same location.

CoronApp - Colombia 2.0.6 APK requires following permissions:

1 ★ It's incredible that an app trying to be so important has bugs of this magnitude, I selected the airline for my flight correctly and then the qr code generator changes the airline, not only for me but for other passengers too, I hope this is not a problem at the airport, seems like the developers are using indexes for the airline list whose index doesn't correspond the selection (i.e. the string corresponding to the selection has different index than the real selection)...

1 ★ the app requires a local colombian number! The airline refused to let me board without it. Luckily I had my laptop with me & could do the online form or I would've lost $800
1 ★ Here are the shortcomings: 1. Only in Spanish and duh some travelers only speak English 2. The Pull down did not work for my country code to activate 3. Required traveling to Colombia but can't activate prior 4. Not everyone traveling to Colombia will have a data plan to use Anyone doing system testing and thinking over adding an app and then it is limited in scope and usage. Fix this before you impose rules and regulations on visitors!!!
1 ★ The app doesn't work. When you try to get in.. it ask you a code which should be sent to the phone but it has not arrived yet, I've been waiting for a long time. Actually, I don't know why the president Ivan Duque was telling amazing things about the app and presuading all the colombian citizens to download it when it doesn't work.

If it is for travellers the app must be multi lingual. #Fail the constant bluetooth pairing, wifi and data use makes the app expensive to use and may violates the user's IoT agreement with their employer for business phones, security and tracking of users. Responses in Spanish are NOT appreciated and will be ignored.
1 ★ Keeps crashing, everytine after recording the symptoms and want to obtain the QR code the apps crashes i have used it in the past but since a week it keeps crashing even after many re installations and restarts The app should be less depending on dowloaded data specially for people in areas with poor connections You should be able to renew you qr code before the the 24 hr expire i use it for work and at some point i cant renew before leaving the house as you have to wait on the old expid
1 ★ Couldn't be more useless, quite literally just a bunch of links you can easily find yourself, what's the point in wasting tax payer money in the development of this garbage? If the government wants to data mine at least that information should be public, but it isn't, you can't even see the amount of cases per zone or such. Do not answer to this in Spanish, less so using those clearly templated responses. I recommend anyone who sees this to protect their privacy and avoid this at all costs.

1 ★ Rubbish.. Everytime I try to access the app, it keeps saying "update me" but in the playstore says "it's updated" On the other hand, there's no useful information, and the menu has a very slow (poor) loading....
