Description
Consult+ for Canada Life members is a virtual health and wellness hub. It brings together all the care professionals you need to answer your health concerns. Connect to the right practitioners across an ever-growing array of specialties. Get a prescription renewal. Consult our licensed doctors or nurses by chat, audio or video. Consult+ is for plan members and their dependants covered by their Canada Life group benefits plan.
You can use Consult+ for:
- Minor or known headaches
- Allergies, colds, flu and nasal congestion
- Painless eye issues (eye stye, pink eye,…)
- Infection of the upper respiratory tract (sinusitis, rhinitis,…)
- Mild or known gastric issues
- Mild infection of the digestive system
- Asymptomatic sexual health
- Genito-urinary infection in women
- Breastfeeding support and related infections
- Dermatologic infections and eruptions (rash, hives, eczema,…)
- Minor cuts or bites
- Thyroid issues
- Medical prescriptions or renewals

1 ★ Days and days of trying to get signed in. Customer service is a joke. There is none. The sign in says contact support. There isn't any place to contact them. Garbage. Just plain garbage
1 ★ Extremely poor navigation; clunky. When you request an email, no email is received. Some links don't work. It asks for an invitation code but doesn't explain where you get one. Very 90s vibe to the slow, stilted site and app. Typical high paid consultancy, delivering a low rate app. I hope my dues aren't paying for this.
1 ★ What is even the point of waiting in line for hours to get an appointment, only to be told BEFORE the appointment by a nurse that you need to go see a Doctor. All I needed were antibiotics but sure, thanks for proving this app is useless. Even the Doctor I went to see told me that this could have easily been solved by Consult+ if they had really wanted to or tried. Useless.
2 ★ They used to be efficient and professional. However, 2 times now they have missed an appointment. The "dialog" is endless is ridiculously drown out over hours with several different people. Appointment times are getting further away, and it's a crapshoot as to whether they will actually be able to assist you. Don't bother asking for a referral, they take months to send it, after you find the specific specialist for them to send the referral. Overall, this is a complete waste of time & patience
2 ★ The option to "Close Account" on this app creates a template email that gets sent to a Canada Life email address. E-mails sent to that address bounce back saying it's an "only sends messages" email address. I don't think anyone has tested this app to reasonable levels.
