1 ★ Told me it was out of date and needed to be reinstalled which I did. Now I can't access my monthly pass cuz it says it's part of an older version of the app. How ridiculous is that? But wait, there's more: the form for customer support won't send because it says the captcha wasn't filled in, but they never provided one to begin with. So here I am, doing this. And tomorrow I get to call them.
1 ★ You need to update and fix this app. Last week the colors weren't changing to the appropriate transfer, and just now the store keeps giving me an error message whenever i try to buy a ticket. I have zero cash or back up and i am depending on this to get me to work. So fix it if this is supposed to replace cash. Otherwise you will continue to screw over the people who depend on it
2 ★ I have multiple metro tickets showing as available, I bought all at once thinking it would be easier to use but now when I click to use one it asks me to download something and says tickets are unavailable (eventhough they have not been activated). I have to buy an additional ticket every time now. Please fix this. Otherwise it's a great option to have.
1 ★ This app, now 3 years old, is awful. Errors out to the tickets page frequently, often takes MINUTES to load and display my ticket, even when it was previously activated. Sometimes has a big where it shows the wrong transfer color for the day. When a ticket expires, it displays a dialog box "error" although that is clearly not an error. Terrible responsiveness when you contact customer service through the app. This app shpuld be trashed and something new created. After three years, will uninstall
1 ★ Alright, untIl it crashed. Suddenly logged me out and then crashed, refusing to open. Had to delete and reinstall. Logged back in and it says i have tickets "unavailable on this device." What? Tickets that are under my account are "on another device or installation." Okay devs, THATS NOT HOW BACKING UP TO AN ONLINE ACCOUNT WORKS! I have $18 in tickets that I can't use, even though the app knows they belong to my account. I'm just going to get an Orca card, everyone else should too.
2 ★ Update: Tried two more times to install. Whitelisted it with my VPN app and that solved the crashing issues. Still not the easiest to use app but it's at least working now. If you have a VPN on your Android phone you'll probably need to whitelist this app to make it work properly. Wow. Ironically, this transit ticket app is a train wreck. Constant crashes after initial installation. Unable to even set up and buy 1st ticket. With all of the similar horrible reviews why isn't this app been updated in over 14 months?
3 ★ I love using this App to use Mobile Bus Tickets because it makes it more easy for me to board a bus and to be able to show the driver my fare. But the Issues i have been having are lots of freezing, force closing, not working properly, lagging, slowness. I needs to go away. I love using this app to the fullest.
2 ★ Same issue as another reviewer. It worked the first time I used it to purchase a couple of rail tickets to and from the airport, but after that it would never let me make another purchase. It kept telling me that I needed to add a credit card even though I already had one stored. No matter how many times I added a new card, it kept telling me I needed to add one, rendering the app completely useless. Since I won't be back in Seattle anytime soon, I will gladly be deleting this app.
2 ★ Don't trust this app for Sound Transit rides!!! Sound Transit advertised this app as a way to pay for a bus ride that I was taking on Saturday from Lynnwood to Seattle. But, I was told by both the bus driver & supervisor at the Ash Way Park & Ride that the tickets are not valid. I ended up having to get change so that I could ride.
1 ★ I followed a suggestion to use this app, which was located on a post at a bus stop at the Seattle airport. I then tried to get on a bus at that same stop / post using the tickets, and the driver said they won't accept them. Because I had "activated" the tickets as I boarded, I lost my money and had to purchase additional tickets from the driver.
5 ★ Haven't run into any issues, it's replacing my ORCA card to commute to and from work. Been pretty happy with it, far less painful than trying to load money onto my ORCA card. Too bad it's not well-advertised, I would've used this a lot sooner if I had known about it!
2 ★ Clunky Bloatware. Takes lots of time & effort and app is not inclined to store my pre-paid ride. I must keep going online to download my same old credit. There is not WiFi on regular bus and I don't have cell data to burn downloading my same credit over and over each time I use the app. Some Seattle transit services such as shuttle to light rail will NOT accept cash. So I'm forced to redownload my $2.25 credit in cloud. IF I can get strong wifi or cell signal ... clunky app!!
1 ★ Complete failure. Bought ticket, walked to bus stop, checked schedule on Google maps, switched back to ticket when bus arrived. Nothing but a flickering screen, even after 30 seconds. Didn't seem to surprise the bus driver...
3 ★ Good app, but usability needs some improvements. You'd imagine that a ticketing app should have a streamlined purchase flow, but it currently takes 9 (!!) clicks to buy a ticket. Now, imagine trying to quickly do that while getting on a bus
1 ★ Same as another review. Purchased ticket through this app on Seattle airport after reading instructions on the board for bus transit. And the driver did not acknowledge the ticket. Had to pay in cash again. Couldn't reuse this as I had already activated the tickets.
