Description
Audius is a brand-new streaming platform built for all musicians, not just those signed to labels.
Build a fanbase, share your works in progress, and then publish your completed tracks for all the world to hear. Create, grow, and monetize, all without the need to graduate off the platform or sign a record deal.
Out of the box, Audius includes:

Audius Music 1.1.455 APK requires following permissions:

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.

3 ★ Cool platform, love the concept but because it's rather new, there's not a lot of selection when searching... YET, and it still has a few very noticeable UI and functionality flaws that haven't been ironed out... YET. "Yet" being the key word because it seems to be in active development/improvement and I definitely see potential here. DEVs: Start a beta program here on Google Play for users to easily report bugs/issues and share improvement suggestions.
5 ★ Love the platform but it needs optimization. App is currently very slow (I assume from the massive influx of new users) and the search bar doesn't work. When I tap on an audius link on mobile it doesn't take me to the app or have an option to so I end up unable to follow or like without signing in over and over again... Once again I love audius and would love to see it overtake SoundCloud but you guys still have a lot of work to do.
2 ★ This app is super buggy. Can't click on my profile without the app closing. Other functions also cause app to close. Also, they do not have any detailed information for artists uploading to gain an understanding of how compensation works or what the permission options are for music being uploaded. I like the concept, but they need to improve these if they want to grow.
2 ★ I love this app. It has some truly great artists and a wonderful UI. It has a fateful flaw, though, in that you cannot fully exit without restarting the phone or deleting the app. Once this is fixed (even if it's just an x in the notification banner) I will happily update my rating and reinstall your app.
1 ★ I provided my email and access to Instagram account. Got confirmation email. But it doesn't log me in. Can't get past the log in screen. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. But same happens. I even tried a bad password and it tells me invalid credentials. But the correct password just refreshes the log in page for me. It seems like a pretty bad bug. Since I can't get past the log in screen after I provided credentials and granted access to IG, I can't recommend this sketchiness to anyone rn.
3 ★ Id use it way more if it worked properly on my Motorola. It stops playing mixes every 5 minutes and the only fix is to pause and unpause it. More often than not the app completely restarts if I go to other apps while using it. A real bummer when I want to use it to listen to music on longer car rides and im trying to use a navigation app
1 ★ Really Really Really love the concept of the app and as a creator I want to be able to use it, however the app keeps crashing within the first 30 seconds of using the app. This is on a Galaxy s21, so it's definitely a issue with the app and not the phone, as the phone is not old at all. Fingers crossed the app gets an updated version soon. 🙏 To create an account I had to go to theor website because the app also wouldn't recognize my email as a real email. Definitely a code issue. 3 ★ Needs "create a station," a widget, the Chromecast feature doesn't work, audio doesn't pause when disconnected, songs don't load in if you don't scroll down to load them in, and the ability to claim your $AUDIO doesn't work. The emoji moods are a bit cringey to be completely honest. Otherwise a beautiful app.
2 ★ The selection is rather small but that's understandable for a young website. However my main issue with this app is the performance. It constantly crashes, freezes and bugs out to the point of almost being unusable. I gave it 2 stars because I like the high bitrate.
1 ★ So slow and buggy. 2 star because there is good music. Edit: I'm taking a star away from this trash app one star because it's non functional. It completely crashed on my PC. On android I'm greeted with the same unwelcoming error message. I can't even pick any musicians because can't scroll. I'm going to uninstall this thing and not going to look back.
3 ★ The quality of app significantly increased, but usability is still not there. No gender selection, filters are not there. Music is a feed updating once a week, so if you need to find something new, you really have to sit and swap all around again and again. Like button help create you favorite list, but no tools to explore at all. Humble request: add dislike or ignore button, so really not yours music should not come again and again. This would improve usability a lot.
2 ★ Im only trying to use this app for a contest Im entering. And Im having a very hard time trying to use this app. I cant even add a payment method. Edit: Its still doing the same thing. So what happens is it tells me that the payment was unsuccessful without me even being able to add a payment method or it just sits and loads without bringing anything up. So I go to add money to the wallet and I cant add a payment method there, either. I just get stuck loading there as well.
3 ★ Good app but has bugs like a random playlists crashed the app or the app stopped playing sound randomly to get it back completely stop the app and robot. I'm waiting to hear back from the email I sent about why I can't claim my reward on the phone app since there other options is overwhelmed by traffic. Is there going to be a good update for this app to fix it up soon? Update : it got a lot better but the pay company KYC I just can't complete and can't reach out to to them.
3 ★ App is buggy, the following page never loads and i often get the onboarding follow 3 artist to continue in my feed even though im already following more tha 10 accounts. Tracks often don't play no matter how many times I press the Play button and the only thing that fixes The problem temporarily is force closing the app.
2 ★ Nice idea, but honestly this app has such a big team already and so many investors, why is the design not good and the app so slow? Sometimes I press pause the icon is changing but the music is still playing. Sometimes it is not reacting when I click on a link and I'm general the response time is so slow that it just feels super outdated. And I think the design is too playful for a music app it feels a bit outdated.
