App permissions

Anybell 1.0.131 APK requires following permissions:

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.

Allows an application to call killBackgroundProcesses(String].

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to expand or collapse the status bar.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to read or write the system settings.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

2 ★ Connected first time with my ipad.......however, crashes everytime on my Samsung 7 ......needed it for my phone,not my ipad

4 ★ Brill except I get no notifications on my Samsung note 9 yet my gf has a crappy Sony phone and she gets all the notifications. Needs an update

1 ★ False ad, this has no comparison to RING, can't change sound, won't record and will not notify me when there's activity or presence on my porch or range view. Before the update, everything worked.. now nothing.. wasted money. I will never purchase from this company/person again. RIP off from developer and manufacture.

4 ★ Most of my issues are with bell, not the app. But pressing the SD Video 'button' sets it to hd, and locks up video. App should ignore option if bell does not have hd. And would be good to be able to select different sound for bell, not default ringtone. Finally I too get inconsistent responses, sometimes 1 phone rings, sometimes the other, or both. Hope there will be another release to fix this.

3 ★ As with previous reviewers, I'm not sure which problems are caused app or bell. The app looks ok and has potential, but fails on many levels: failure to open, frequent crashes and not enough control of PIR leading to continuous false doorbell rings on phone. I'm hoping this Android version is better than the iOS app I've been using.

2 ★ This app is frustrating to use. When the button or sensor is used, it is totally random as to whether it will call my phone - or not. Most times it won't call or send a notification, but some days it's OK. Go figure. It's just too unreliable to be of use to me

2 ★ Keeps failing to sync from bell after a hundred times or so still nothing volume up down all over and failed everytime. Why won't this thing complete a setup??

2 ★ It doesn't explain how to set it up clearly, since the last update it works a little better, it told me I needed to charge the batteries, I've had them on charge for 28 hours, and it says it's still charging. This is the fast charge, not this slow charge. I did put a memory chip in it, which made it a little faster and work a little better. Now all I have to do is wait and see if it ever finishes charging.

1 ★ A truly useless app. features claimed simply do not exist for example the app does not record activity and the recording mode option is not shown in the device settings list. got some response from the developer but they stopped answering my emails when the things they asked me to try didn't work.
