2 ★ Once connected, the Android app is inexcusably clunky in a world where Material Design and UI/UX designers exist, but it works well enough for sending and printing text messages, which is all I need it for. HOWEVER: The "Share" feature provides a link to an UNSECURE web site for others to send messages (which is inexcusable!) so DO NOT use this feature to invite someone to send sensitive information. Try as I might, though, I absolutely COULD NOT get the Android version of the app to complete the process of getting the MemoBird itself on my local network (and I am NOT going to download an additional app from a Chinese web site to make it work). The iOS version of the Memobird app connected the printer to my network almost instantly. Get your iOS developer to talk to your Android developer and give them some tips for working with networks that have 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands that can't be renamed (like eero). Your iOS developer knows what they're doing.
1 ★ Not sure if its the device or app or both. I have to unplug and then plug back in (the printer itself) and wait to reestablish wifi connection for every picture we want to print. Just gave it to my 8yo for her bday. Pretty useless in this state. Awaiting tech support response, will update review accordingly.
3 ★ I saw a lot ppl saying about the invalid device, it happened to me too when I scan the QR code Solution is to go to Google and find for 腾讯应用宝 and download in your phone, is like China Google play store Then after downloaded the apps, find the memobird apps in the 腾讯应用宝 and downloaded it, then the memobird apps will be able to scan your memobird printer Try and see 😁
4 ★ Wouldn't bind to memobird gt1 initially, contacted support on Chinese site and they were able to fix my version of it to connect using the qr code to this version. If you have a Chinese version of memobird contact support. App works great, auto connects bluetooth (but no auto shut off), lots of options Use picture mode to print images they come out good
3 ★ The Memobird GT1 is a nice printer with in budget. Memobird app is also soo good. There is no offline mode. So, have to connect online to print. That's why i gave 3stars. Dev team, we have to enable offline mode for GT1 model too.
1 ★ buggy app. It doesn't let you sign up unless u give it access to your storage, contacts, sms and all other things (it complains it only needs storage). and when u signup, good luck fighting its in-built autofill function
1 ★ Finally got it to print due to what looks like an incompatibility with a google wifi router. It's extremely dishearting that Memobird doesn't let you login unless you give them permission to read your phone call logs.
2 ★ it won't rebind the printer. keeps crashing. worked just fine in December. v disappointed. was hoping to use for packing labels
5 ★ The app is AMAZING! SO many options and a ton of flexibility for such a simple printer!! It's fun and you can be super creative!

1 ★ Stopped working. Unable to sign in. Printer is just a piece of plastic now.
1 ★ for Chinese version bought off eBay etc.. open "myapp tencent". download first option (looks similar to chrome symbol). once this is installed, search "memobird", and install this version. the chrome looking app can be uninstalled once the memobird app is installed and registered. done this to 2 android devices. share this for other users as my seller on eBay was no help at all!
1 ★ The print result is not sharp even though I set it on Heavy Mode. What a Waste
2 ★ Still won't print even not in 5G network. It's printing everything else but not to start the fun
2 ★ Only worked when there is wifi and when you changed a phone all record lost
