App permissions

Magic Display 1.4.7 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to read or write the system settings.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an app to access precise location.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Configure an application for debugging.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows an application to manage access to documents, usually as part of a document picker.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to request installing packages.

4 ★ App ok, a random display feature would be great, the bold, brightness & speed could be tweeked. DIY saves, would be great if you could edit & not have to redo from scratch. Otherwise not a bad app & easy to use.

4 ★ All in all, the app does what it should. You can change the design, write text, connect it to music, etc. However, there are many features I'd like to see added. A way to save designs to a library for use later would be awesome, as well as maybe uploading/saving designs from the community? Also spotify integration would be great as well!! Amazing start though!

4 ★ Works really well with the animated mask I'm using. Main complaint is the idiotic one-at-a-time "app selector" at the start of the app. It's stupid and unnecessary

1 ★ This thing is bad ware. It wants access to your location, contacts, and storage. Not needed if all your doing is programming a led mask to display words.

1 ★ Absolutely horrible spyware. Permissions for contacts, microphone, phone storage and location are asked. Denying these permissions closes the app. The mask proofs to be a useless, expensive purchase.

1 ★ 1. Presets work Great. Every time. Wish we had more choices. "COME" (that is dumb) 2. DIY drawings work. Not easy to create anything nice. 3. Custom text WAS working the 1ST time BUT... since then, no matter how many times I have tried to EDIT or DELETE it WON'T work. It only says; "Timeout" I've even uninstalled the app again. Help?

4 ★ I don't know why everyone is so negative about this app. It works great and had no issues so far, the only minor thing is that is has not much animations and presets, but hopefully more will be added in the future or maybe you can download other people's presets. Love the app and the mask!

1 ★ Can't change color of the text in mask. All else is good... Edit... For a day or two but then won't connect and times out on you

1 ★ There's very few pre-programmed images. I also don't understand why it needs to access my location, contacts, phone, microphone etc.

4 ★ Does it's job. For people complaining about gps being needed it's normal when an app asks for Bluetooth, just google "Bluetooth Android needs gps"

4 ★ Good app, works nicely, would like an easier creation mode with the option to use text and free motion mixed instead of one or the other.

1 ★ App is poorly designed. Try to connect to customize my mask, and it will not connect. I've uninstalled, and reinstalled and got no better results. Cannot get wet, so washing it isn't an option. Very disappointed

4 ★ Very neat product. Is there a way to get more of the preset graphics? I only see about 8 to 10 of them with hearts and things like that

1 ★ Very basic, but wants phone, location, and microphone access and then makes connections to a Chinese server. Pictures of product show a clock and this will NOT do that. Other features in app such as brightness and bold dont function. Looks like Spyware to me!

5 ★ Wonderful but, Can we get more animations to select from? It gets boring after not having more to select from
