The pictures displayed here have been taken by some of the largest astronomical observatories on Earth. Most of this infraestructure is built on Chilean land, due to the extraordinary condition it offers for astronomical observation.
The pictures displayed on this App have been taken by the ALMA, ESO (La Silla, Paranal, Chajnantor Pleateau - APEX) and CATA Observatories, among others.
The content displayed on this App is property of its original source, which is properly identified on the description of each piece. The distribution of this content is made according to the specific regulations of each content's owners, without implying the support of those sources of information to Chile Mobile Observatory.

1 ★ The information is not accurate. For example, it says that the VLT is in La Silla, which is a gross innacuracy. Also, it lists the Observatorio Cerro Armazones, which no longer exists (there is the Bochum Observatory on top of a neighbor hill) while forgetting to mention the E-ELT, which is ESO's flagship project being built on Armazones. The selection of observatories seems random and the English contains several mistakes.

5 ★ This is The most beautiful pictures I have ever see from the Universe taken at The observatories in Northern Chile .Where the best conditions exist for The quality and purity of the sky.

4 ★ I can only give it a 4 because nothing is named like you get a photo of a galaxy but without it being named you have no idea what galaxy you are looking at. So please add names to the object's that are photographed.

4 ★ For those who want to use the pictures as wallpaper, just set an account on onedrive which is free and send the picture there, then from your onedrive or cloud which is the same, bring your picture and set it as wallpaper, easy...
4 ★ Would be nice to have some identification of the subject of each picture. That would allow a viewer to find further information on it.
5 ★ Great pictures, easy to use. automatic setting of the wallpaper would be cool, similar to how the APOD app does it. the pictures are much nicer.
