Download the latest BOM Weather - Mel and Syd application, version 1.1, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Weather app is developed by chesterm8 and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 1.1, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
Please don't leave 1 star reviews just because the app doesnt provide the weather for the rest of Australia, when it is entirely the Bureau of Meteorology's fault.
A simple application that displays the weather forecast using data from (and copyright of) Australia's Bureau of Meteorology (BOM).
Note: This app only currently works for Melbourne and Sydney, entirely due to the way data is data from the BOM. If anyone wants to help extend it to other cities get in touch!

5 ★ Excellent. Would be perfect if you also pulled the U.V index for the current day, just like the website. This app is much easier than having to save bom forecast web link to your home screen, and resizing the web page each time! Thanks

4 ★ Looks like crap but who cares? Does the job perfectly with the only exception is that it needs to display the current temperature
5 ★ Perfect and just what I wanted. This app is designed to be super light on resources! It does exactly what it needs to, and very effectively. If you want one with flashy animations and pictures, get something else, duh!
