App permissions

FluffyChat 1.23.0 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Must be required by a ConnectionService, to ensure that only the system can bind to it.

Allows read access to the device's phone number(s].

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

3 ★ Usable and cute. I really like this one, the interface is more intuitive and smoother with the animations than the other clients. Needs work with optimization though. Background sync is nonexistent, the app takes a lot of time to load. Notifications for android are also almost nonexistent. But it supports spaces just like element! And that's beautiful if someone is looking for an element alternative!

2 ★ Please fix the bug where it thinks a WebM file is a audio file. It's a video format. Search "webm" in the GitHub, I'm not the only one with this issue.

3 ★ Doesn't support polls or threads. Bold text increases the message size and it looks really off-putting.

4 ★ By so far this is the most native chat experience with Matrix app, clean and nice. However, inability to upload multiple photos from the gallery is the dealbreaker for me. Also would be nice to be able to swap between photos. Also would be nice to cache photos to avoid constant reloading from the web.

4 ★ I love this App so far: + It is easy and simple to use at the core. (Which not everyone might like but is important to get more people on board). + It supports stickers which also can be used as emoticons. + Multi account support, although still in Beta, works good. - Now also supports drafts 🙌

4 ★ great ui, everything looks nice, and i like having the luxury of using custom emojis. however, whenever i type something out, it underlines the word im typing, and if i dont press space after it, the word autotypes out on my next message. i tried messing with my keyboard settings, but to no avail. this is the only app this occurs on, so i think it may be a bug. i am using an LG G8X ThinQ.

4 ★ This is good. Probably the best of Matrix apps. But it needs finished features instead of feature placeholders. Matrix needs to fix whatever issue they're having with link previews as this seems to plague all Matrix messengers, even the good ones like this.

2 ★ I am trying, I really am, to sign up to matrix but no matter all the captchas, the verification emails and agreeing to the terms my account doesn't exist and requires me unspecified "additional verification". Even on a different homeserver, using SAML, I with an account actually ready and connected in my browser the app just won't log in. I got frustrated and left the app. Really a bad hit to my already bad day.

4 ★ Very rough around the edges, but the ux is much better than the "official" matrix client, element, although, even after the 1.0 update, there are many things which are either in weird places or completely inaccessible. Also the logging out issue has been fixed pls stop posting about it lol.

1 ★ Can't login. Clicking "sign in with one click" buttons does nothing. Trying to reset password results in "Invalid client_secret parameter" error. I set up credentials on another phone, but they're not accepted here. Username invalid? Nope. Password invalid? Nope. Won't login anyway.

4 ★ This all is a really nice Matrix Client. There are still a few usability things that I think would make this app a 5 star (gif keyboard support and some of the slash controls) but it is a really nice client. The voice recording works well too!

3 ★ I liked the older UI, can you please implement a toggle to switch between the UIs , and a feature to embed links will also be appreciated, overall the UI and design theme of this client is nice (the Main reason I use it) compared to element

3 ★ I love Matrix, but this app is way too slow.

2 ★ Much nicer than Element except for the fact that push notifications do not work. Seems to be a known issue with no available fix. Unfortunately this is a dealbreaker for me.

3 ★ User-Interface appearance good. Can connect with custom matrix-"homeserver". BUT massed up VPN connection settings : though it can connect via VPN dialog/connector in Android, but it uses such network activities that VPN dialog/connector disconnects, then it connects to internet w/o VPN, and all APPs which suppose to go thru VPN, begins to connect to internet servers directly w/o VPN . it does-not hapn Before. We gave 1-Star review rate for such violation of Privacy, Privacy-Rights,etc activity.
