The myHelsana app is a quick, easy and accessible way to deal with all of your important health insurance matters, such as your questions, invoices and contact details.
Why it pays to use myHelsana:
• One less pile of paper at home: myHelsana is the digital folder for your health insurance. You can continue to receive documents by post if you prefer, though.

1 ★ Scanning sth is almost impossible. What a shame this app. Annyoing for everybody just so helsana save some money. I did it on black and white background. Both didnt work. Edit: 19.10.2021 I tried it with white, black and other backround. Its not the solution. I also used diffrent phones etc. Now after almost a year and several updates, still no changes.
2 ★ Could be fantastic but very often shows technical errors and does not capture uploaded documents submitted for processing. In the end I have to write emails and use another way so it unfortunately makes the app almost obsolete
2 ★ Could be more useful. 1: No payment confirmation and summary of payment available in this app, even Helsana doesn't provide the payment confirmation (where as Visana and other insurance companies provide it each six months). 2: when someone sends/uploads a receipt or invoice, it takes months to be processed by Helsana. And once they are processed, there is a chance of invoice being vanished for Helsana employees. So you have to call and call in order to get your money back 🙄. 3: complex login
4 ★ Convenient, mostly user friendly app. A few minor issues (fir examplw invoices with a patient's name but different addressee name), but adequate on the whole.
2 ★ "A technical error has occurred" This app supposed to have everything, but the only thing that is working is a document upload. Apart from that not able to add comments, complaints, messages, nothing.
5 ★ Works well, especially for scanning invoices to get reimbursed. Would like to opt-out of getting a TAN via SMS for every single login though.
3 ★ Really annoying invoice scanner... I was literally standing outside in the bright sun with a dark background behind the invoice paper and the app repeatedly told me: "Too dark!", "Too dark!", "Don't move!", "nothing recognized!" and so on...
2 ★ Useful once your in. Unfortunately currently whenever I entered the password or scan my fingerprint it just restarts the login. Utterly useless and wating my time like this.
3 ★ Scanning with the previous app was much easier. Also there's no way to delete a scan and redo it if the user has made a mistake
3 ★ Careful when signing an additional insurance. The end date is not the same as the basic insurance and they'll continue to cover you for a year more. Very annoying business model...
1 ★ The worst app I have ever seen. 1 star is too much, always there is technical issues when I am uploading the invoices. Please pay more money to hire qualified IT staff.
4 ★ Functions well with clear hints and tips. User-friendly software
2 ★ App itself is good but too hard to log in. MTAN code often takes hours to arrive.
5 ★ Love the App but if you could add payment directly from the app like Twint would be great.
5 ★ Perfect app for uploading invoices and for information =( Very satisfied =)
