See the universe form in the palm of your hand. Witness the formation of the very first stars, our solar system, and the planet we call home. Immerse yourself in the primordial mystery of the early universe in space and watch events unfold around you, in your own physical environment.
Learn about the microscopic building blocks that make up everything - and everyone - we know, and find out if we really are made of stars.
See the universe form as you stretch out your hand in front of your camera. Create the very first particles and atoms. Make a star explode, create a supernova and explore the nebula. See our solar system come together and hold the Earth in the palm of your hand.
Find out how we are made from stars, take a #starselfie and share it with your friends.
This app has options for subtitles.
Augmented reality experiences require battery power- please make sure your device is fully charged before playing this AR experience.
To show you where you are on Earth, Big Bang AR needs permission to access your location. The app also needs access to the camera and photo gallery on your device for the AR experience to work, and to save photos directly to your device. This data remains anonymous and will not be stored or shared externally from your device.

5 ★ It's an amazing app!! From Big Bang to Solar System, this app covered all of the stuff. The explanation, the music in the background are perfect! But it's AR that makes it more amazing! You can turn your mobile phone around to see all of the stuff happening. We can even explore a star from all perspective.! Thanks CERN for makibg such an amazing app! But please can you make an app that covers space stuffs like Black holes, Neutron Stars, Quasars Galaxy's and more and more.
2 ★ Launched the app with the Samsung note 9. Very lags and the device get really hot quickly, didn't want to harm my device so uninstalled it. Besides, the camera moved as I move the phone and there is no options to keep the camera stay still, inconvenient. Though it was a fun app to get to know the universe, love the concept.
2 ★ The content is high quality, visually. Really nice. But why exactly does this use AR? I don't see any reason for it. Could be easily a 360 degree movie. Depth of information is not enough to make me want to keep the app on my phone or watch again. Also, why is this a native app? Getting rid of ARCore dependency, using the phones sensors to look around, would have been equally nice. As much as I like the content, seen it once and uninstall. More than 100MB is too big to keep on the phone.

4 ★ I really love the animations etc. from the app. But there's major performance problems that produce MASSIVE heat on pretty up-to-date smartphones! Please optimise the app, so it won't heat up the devices of users up to 44°C!! 😭
5 ★ I came upon this app when reading about the research into particle physics performed at CERN. It's the first augmented reality (AR) app I have tried. It's graphics and stories summarize theoretical stages of the Big Bang. Good work!
1 ★ Very buggy. Disappointing. Open and worked the first time I installed it. After that wouldn't run a second time. So uninstalled and reinstalled. Now won't open at all. Just hangs. 🙈
5 ★ This is the best app ever! The description of Bing Bang was clear and understandable, also the option to look around the space is amazing! I love this app
3 ★ Great idea, but it's so slow on my device and my device has a Snapdragon 845. It should be fine - all AR is normally smooth. Instead I get 1-2 fps in this app.
4 ★ Pretty cool app! Gotta say, expected a lil more...idk maybe my device. But you guys should run lhc when this asteroid comes by. Heard they bout gave up on radio. Ill be here, yall just be there. Or please let me buy tickets...although, i should get a slide on that cause....
5 ★ one of the best simulations. Though a very short intro, enjoyed it a lot. Developers took quite some effort in making it.
3 ★ Oddly, it doesn't work on Oneplus 7T. Please, do something.
5 ★ Great app but you need to have a light on for the AR to work. Initially I didn't know why the app wasn't working properly.
