Description
This program, if your Stock Browser manage it, IMPORT FOLDERS TOO; it has been tested with ".htm" files exported from Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Opera Browser.
The import function in the Stock Android Browser Database could not run on some devices; in this scenario the program works with a proprietary database where the folders will be managed.
Your privacy is guaranteed, nothing will be uploded to any server.
NON-ROOTED DEVICES:
Users of non-rooted devices can open links in their favorite Browser using program's interface; in this scenario the program works with a proprietary database.
ROOTED DEVICES:
You can use Bookmarks directly from Stock Browser; of course you can open links in yours favorite Browser using program's interface.
USAGE (not-rooted and rooted devices):
You must first export your Pc Browser's Bookmarks to a ".htm" file (example: with Microsoft Internet Explorer use: Menu-> File-> Import and Export-> Export to a file-> Favorites) then copy "bookmark.htm" to any folder on the device; then run the program and select that file.
Advanced Functions include:
. FULL imported Bookmarks utilization.
. option to SORT ALPHABETICALLY Stock Browser's Bookmarks also without importing anything.
. option to ONLY DELETE Stock Browser's Bookmarks without importing anything (USEFUL FOR CLEANING UP).
. option to MANUAL BACKUP Android Stock Browser's Bookmarks and History.
. option to RESTORE Android Stock Browser's Bookmarks and History from previous backup.

1 ★ This app is a scam in order for you to use it you have to buy the pro version after install this development or developer should not be on Google this is ridiculous I wish there was a way to report it
1 ★ The app only let's you use 2 or 3 times than it requires you buy the Advanced version. Total crap.
5 ★ Exported from Chrome, imported to stock CyanogenMod 9 browser on SGS2. Bookmarks sync is not working between the two browsers since i enabled passphrase encryption on Google Chrome (on the PC) so i needed something to import my bookmarks into my phone. Hint: follow the on-screen instruction when using this app, you shouldn't have any issues. Also important, if you are using other browsers on your PC and want those bookmarks as well, first import your bookmarks into Google Chrome (on your PC), then export to html and copy the file on your phone, then use this app to import into your stock android browser.
1 ★ A lot of error notifications, although i am rooted and granted this app root access. Even the first time when it worked did not imported the bookmarks correctly, some folders were empty.
1 ★ Why Root? When rooting device you are open to all kinds of threats give this a miss

5 ★ I've tried various ways to import bookmarks into my stock browser on 4.4/KitKat, but was finally able to do it with this app (rooted Optimus L90, which seems to have the old type browser plus a Chrome browser -- separate and unsynchronized) . Yes, this app is older than dirt and just as ugly, but it got my one-time job done with minimum fuss.
