What's new in My-Start 2.7.0.1500
Please note that the My-Start app is no longer being supported. To continue controlling your car starter with your smartphone we ask that you download the improved My Start Plus app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.com.automobility.mystart_plus.release).
This will allow you to use the same functions as the My-Start app with added features such as customizing the look of your vehicle.

Description
You will be able to remotely control the following actions from your smart phone from almost anywhere in Quebec (consult the coverage map). You will need either a cellular data plan or an active WiFi connection for your smartphone at the moment of use.
You need to have a My-Start device installed by your certified installer in order to be able to control the vehicle.

You can allow up to 3 secondary users to control your vehicle, and you may have an unlimited number of vehicles in a single application.

You can configure a 4-digit PIN to prevent unauthorized access to the application control screen.

The system is being operated using the Otodata Wireless Network, which currently covers a vast territory in Quebec and Ontario. You will be surprised by how fast the system works compared to traditional remote key fob or cellular based car starters!
App permissions
My-Start 2.7.0.1500 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
