Sharper lmage Smart Scale 1.0.5 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

This constant was deprecated in API level 8. The restartPackage(String] API is no longer supported.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an application to access extra location provider commands.

4 ★ I'd like to request a Synch with Google Fit feature.

1 ★ All of a sudden started to demand location permission and also wants Media access. Won't run without it. SI can go piss up a rope. Uninstalled.

4 ★ The button that switches it from kg to lbs is super hard to find. Only after a google search was I able to locate it. Even then, the button was hard to reach as it wasn't directly inside the hole under the sticker, so I had to use a paper clip and fiddle inside for 20 minutes until it finally switched over. Otherwise, it works great.

1 ★ Attempted to install the app but could not. I denied access to my media and photos and installation stopped at that point. Don't understand why access is needed to my data. Uninstalling the app and will track my information by other methods. In my opinion they do not to have access to any data on phone to UK install an app.

2 ★ It's super basic. Even the app is bare and sterile... nothing exciting about it, but it gets the job done.

3 ★ This Smart Scale was working up to April 2020, my son used it that morning it was on lb, it changed to kg on it's own, I changed the battery, thinking I needed too, pressed "Analyzed" and now it is saying " Connection Failed " I uninstalled the app, and reinstalled and still not working, can this be fixed?

4 ★ Love it, awesome for losing weight and/gaining muscle. keeps track of everything. Works on my Samsung and my colleagues iPhone. can put multiple users on one phone. Would give 5 stars if it had either a help/question for support and some more information on certain things. But still its the best scale I have ever used, awesome! At time of writing I have been using it for 3 months, and it records from the beginning of use so you can see your gains and losses if you hit the analyze then save it.

1 ★ Horrible app. Worked okay and connected at first with older Galaxy S8+. But scale automatically changed from lbs back to kg. Now my Galaxy S10 won't connect to change it back to lbs and app is apparently outdated for my Android version.

1 ★ Without the app, scale is basically useless, you cannot change from kg to lbs or use any of the other measurements it is supposed to provide. And their app is only built for older versions of Android phones so it will not works with newer phones, such as a Samsung S10. So I have a scale that is useless. If you want to be in the technology world, you need to keep all of it up to date so people can use it! Ridiculous. Beware!

3 ★ Not the greatest app, notice weight is does not always seem accurate. I will weigh myself twice and get slightly different weights. Does not seem like a lot of folks read the instructions, if getting "Impendence error" weigh yourself barefooted and place bare feet on metal sensors to get the app to Analyze fat, water and calories. If your are weighing yourself with socks or shoes on, you will only get your weight and BMI. My one issue is scale will not switch to LBS (pounds).

1 ★ worked great at first but then kept getting an error message - the connection failed. :( wont connect to phone anymore but still didplays weight. wish i had never purchased it, will stay clear in the future.

1 ★ I only got it to work correctly one time. All the other times I get an error message. I like the easy way it read and shows you in chat what your weight, Bmi and other things are. But, it wi not work consistently so you can have an accurate reading. Please fix this cause this is causing your sales and star rating to go down and I can see it could be a good system. However, it is just an overpriced scale.

2 ★ Worked fine until batteries died. After changing the batteries it wont connect with app. Now I have to weigh in kgs because the only way to change it to lbs is through the app.

1 ★ App does not work after update. Will not connect to phone. Garbage. Now I have a scale that only reads in kg and can't track anything else. Garbage.

5 ★ Downloaded the app, created an account, hit weigh in, and it works like a charm. even chimes on phone when scale detects weight and stats. Best app and scale for the money. App and scale does exactly what it was intended to do. Not sure why so many complaints posted here. I would buy another one for family, but it was the last one on shelf.. :((
