The II Ibero American Management Coastal Areas Integrated: Governance for Ecosystem Services of Coastal and Oceans (GIAL 2016), organized by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and the Ibero American Management Integrated Coastal (IBERMAR), will be held in 2016 in the city of Florianópolis (Brazil), in collaboration with the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and the University of Cádiz (UCA).

This meeting is of great importance for the joint construction of knowledge on the coast, the sea and its management. We believe that in addition to the training activity that defines events of this nature, they help to establish and consolidate contact points in American Ibero region, and represent platforms for the exchange of knowledge and experience between authorities / managers / academic institutions / centers research and social movements, with high potential applies the action planning and management of coastal and marine.

So the GIAL 2016 application acts as an extension of the event, serving as a mobile platform for the dissemination and monitoring of existing activities in Congress.
