To name is to confer identity. Thus, the magazine baptized Intramuros is born in the footsteps of none other than Tolstoy, to whom I am grateful for the collaboration. The term, formed by the lexicalisation of the Latin prepositional syntagm intra muros - within the walls - makes reference to the spaces between walls but, here, in addition, it refers to the back of someone who reflects on itself. One might think that the term determines something closed, stagnant, unable to expand. However, the magazine Intramuros appears as the first opportunity to create a specific locus, where teachers and students can focus on the field of Interior Design, entirely dedicated to their repertoire and their particular perspective - user-focused, which inhabits a given territory and uses this space according to a particular function particularized its individuality - personal, cultural and environmental.
