Description

Using the JLab Air ANC App, you have the ultimate way to control your sound – from active noise canceling, to EQ sound, to touch controls. This app works with JLab’s Epic Air ANC and Epic Air Sport ANC products only.

ANC/Be Aware Controls
You'll be able to increase the active noise canceling from off all the way to max ANC, while in the earbuds themselves you can only select on or off. Also increase the amount of outside noise you let in by increasing or decreasing Be Aware settings.

EQUALIZER Controls
Fine tune your sound by adjusting the equalizer settings. JLab products come set with three default settings - called Custom EQ3 Sound, which features JLab Signature, Balanced and Bass Boost and a 4th option 'Custom'. Use the JLab Air ANC App to test and set your own equalizer settings by adjusting Bass (200, 280, 400 Hz levels), Mid-Range (550, 770, 1000, 2000 Hz levels) and Treble (4000, 8000, 16000 Hz levels). You can adjust each of the four presets, which includes a 'Custom' option with levels starting flat.

TOUCH CONTROLS
JLab products come with controls on each earbuds that control anything from volume, track changes, play/pause and more. If you'd like to switch the settings, you can customize your controls further via the app.
PRODUCT UPDATES AND MORE
Via the app you can also do seamless updates to your products when available. We'll let you know when an update is available and you push GO.

Other features:
Toggle on/off the Auto Play Sensors. If you don't like your music to pause automatically when you take the earbuds out of your ears.
Check the exact % of battery life in each earbud

5 ★ No problems with this app, whatsoever! I've been using them for about 2 months now on OnePlus 8. First update still had mic issues. Just installed second update today and confirmed with my caller that mics were clearer. Only nitpick I have would be to adjust the algorithms for the adaptive ANC to have less 'counter-noise' in a quiet room with ANC levels at the max, then applying it only when needed. Definitely not a knock against the product, just a thought... Worth well above its price!

1 ★ The app does not work. I have the Earbuds connected and both are working, but when I open the app, it just says "Please connect the device in setting". I've tried everything, nothing changes. Earbuds are quite nice, but I'm likely going to return them for something else.

1 ★ I was under the impression that any anc earbud had access to the app. If I assumed wrong, why wouldn't you just include all of 3 anc products to the app? I'm returning my air anc buds tomorrow. Ive always went with jlab earbuds but if I need to spend 100 to use an app to have my earbuds sound proper, I'l justl spend $25-$50 more n go with the other brands

1 ★ Not good! the jlab Epic Air AMC app just won't connect to my phone and Bluetooth. I have installed and uninstalled several times. I purchased a pair jlab AMC sportbuds and I have no problem connecting to Bluetooth. It's just the app that's not working.. It's reading disconnected, go to settings to activate Bluetooth. The Bluetooth is on already. Can't update Air Sport buds in app.. we'll try again another time...

1 ★ Very disappointed with both the headphones and the app. 1. The app does not load without location and storage permissions, I really do not understand why this is required 2. The app allows you to change the function of the buttons and gestures, but it holds for a few minutes and keeps returning to default settings. 3. The audio stops and hangs up for no logical reason too many times. 4. According to the app there should be a software update that should improve the auto pause capability - but unsurprisingly the app does not really allow the update and the "GO" button cannot be clicked. 5. In general there is a feeling that the app is some unprepared beta version that has too many bugs. I hope JLAB is a serious enough company to fix these issues. The design and sound of the headphones is really nice, the ANC could have been better. In my opinion some of the ANC problems can also be solved by software updates.

2 ★ Leaves a lot to be desired. UI isn't the nicest, the update button doesn't work and for my pair at least if you change what any of the button commands do it doesn't seen to register with the earphones, I tried to change Google Assistant button to pause but it doesn't function sadly

3 ★ Needs some work. The update function is really messed up. The tap functions are screwed up too. They're either too sensitive or not sensitive enough, 0 consistency. Other than that the earbuds are solid.

1 ★ "Please connect device in settings. They are connected and yes both are connected. App unusable. If the app doesn't even recognise its own brand is connected then there is a problem. First wireless buds I've ever bought but won't purchase this brand again.

1 ★ It will not connect to my headphones 🙁 When opening the app, even though my headphones are connected to my phone, the app is just in what seems like a boot-loop. It says connecting, then it cancels the action and starts again. This is only in the app, the headphones themselves works without any issues.

3 ★ It still needs work, I'd like to adjust the controls for the long press and there is no confirmation for when you make adjustments and try to set them. I think it's nice to see things when adjustments are made, but this app has some bugs to squash before I can give 5 stars.

5 ★ The best app for these headphones. Where you can reprogram settings make the heads phones work the way you'd like them to. Love the EQ settings. And finally finally finally able to turn the sensors off. That was my biggest issue leaning over and the headphones pausing the music. Still wondering why they don't promote this app with the new headphones when you buy them. Awesome job though, headphones sound even more amazing now 🤸 Does not work with the jLab jBud air still!!?

3 ★ Needs improvement and hope the team improves it. Few suggestions to the developer - 1. The update button is frozen as of now, but it showing that there is an update available. 2. The Be Aware function picks up so much ambient noise amplifying the surrounding sounds. 3. Call quality is not crystal clear year, there's some minor humming sound or something going on...when I increased the 'be aware' function, it improves

1 ★ Generally, pleased with the Go Air earbuds, especially for the price paid new on ebay. However, I have found them a little on the quiet side, with competing music in the gym. Thought using the dedicated app might give them a little more volume, but can't even get past the 'connect in setting' banner. Have disconnected and reconnected, but no difference. Looks like I will have to find another music app to address this issue. Would appreciate any help Many thanks Steve

2 ★ The update "GO" button is frozen (cannot perorm firmware update). And even if the play/pause is turned off, once you get out of the app it goes back to normal and still does the play/pause. Pretty much unless you have the app open, the play/pause feaute will always be on (which is annoying some times). If the sun light is hitting the play/pause sensor on the headphones, it pauses for some reason. So being outside and having play/pause on is annoying.

2 ★ They worked fine for 6 weeks and now my Epic Air ANC keeps cutting out erratically. I disconnected them and reconnted them. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. But they are even worse now. Very dissatisfied with my purchase.
