Description
This is the ad-supported version. The premium version is ad-free.
A photo display application like a digital photo frame showing a nice slideshow of all photos from the selected source.
Key features:
* Slideshow of selected photos
* Select how they should be laid out on the screen :
- Full screen
- Four photos in the four corners
- Randomly laid out over the screen.
- Four regions of different sizes (1 half, 1 quarter and 2 one eight of the screen)
- Flying in from left to right (premium feature)
- Flying in from top or down (premium feature)
* Several transitions:
- Dissolve or fade in/out
- Slide left or right
- Ken Burns effect (premium)
- Grey to color transition (premium)
- Page turn (premium)
- Blinds (premium)
* Digital Photo Frame will randomly display the photos in the folder and arrange them on the screen according to your selected layout.
* The orientation of the photos is fixed if the EXIF tag is present.
* Open an image from another application and use that folder as photo source.
* Click on a displayed photo to show it full screen and share or delete the photo.
* Keeps a list of recently opened files.
Digital Photo Frame is optimized for tablet(HD) use but also works on a phone.

1 ★ When you open the app and show the home screen you can't know what to do and you got that then it's not working. Worst app. Time waste
4 ★ Love the product. I do have a problem. I'm using a rasppi server. I can step down to a subdirectory to access pics. When I try to step back up a directory it won't let me unless I have a picture in that directory. It functions fine with my Linux server. Curious.
1 ★ Keeps freezing on startup for no reason. Works maybe 5% of the time. Looks like it has some great promise.
1 ★ No longer works on my Note8. Used to be a very good app, but now it fails to get to the folder from which I can access my SD card, and also seems to crash at the first menu screen it brings up once you open the app. Hopefully it gets fixed soon as it used to be excellent.
5 ★ You would be shocked how hard it is to set up a properly customizable photo slideshow on a Chromebook. After well over an hour of attempting different things, this app was the answer. It can be a little janky at times, but it does the job.

5 ★ Great app. Use it a lot as a photoframe. Only app Ive found that can handle a large amount of files and folders. Lots of options to personalise affects too.

2 ★ It prints the file path and name of the photo across the screen spoiling the pictures. Good variety of sources for photos including upnp devices on your local network.
2 ★ LAN didn't work so I set up a DLNA server. I can see it with this app and it will show the root of the contents but nothing else.
1 ★ Horrible app. Froze upon initial startup. The interface is not user friendly. Isn't clear on accessing SD card data.
1 ★ Waste of time trying to Chromecast. S9+ from internal memory, 2 diff Chromecast 1 2.4 other 5.2 Only see logo on TV. Not casting looks like it would be the perfect app, but useless if casting.
1 ★ couldn't get it to cast slideshow to Chromecast. Chromecast just displays "photoframe slideshow" and that's it.
5 ★ Excellent! Finally, I found an app with a working picture slideshow from a USB stick! Thanks a lot to the developer!
1 ★ It's a shame that an otherwise decent app includes forced full screen video ads with sound.
