SNCB/NMBS: Timetable & tickets 6.7.0 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to read the user's calendar data.

Allows an application to write the user's calendar data.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an application to read or write the system settings.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

1 ★ The app keeps crashing, I can't buy tickets. I contacted the sncb countless times, on whatsapp, phone, email. Every time I get the ridiculous suggestion to check if I have the latest version (I do!) and to install the app again (I have many times!). Not sure which is worse, the quality of the app or the quality of their costumer service.

1 ★ Utterly disappointing. Interface is even more user unfriendly than the previous one and slower. Please bring back the old app and focus company funds on updating trains and increasing reliability of your service.

1 ★ Every time I open this, it just reloads completely, which is majorly annoying. What if I just wanted to see my different options while on the way to the station, instead of entering all info all over again? Then I'm at the station, trying to find the right track, same thing. I'm in the train, wanting to see when I arrive, have to enter everything again. Just save the info we entered and give us an update button...?

1 ★ When i use the shortcuts it always shows routes from and to different stations then they should, the app doesnt stop loading when i try and buy a ticket and it doesn't show all available routes. The previous app works better in my opinion. edit: Just tried to purchase a ticket, it took the money from my bank account but the ticket fails to show up in my active purchases. This is straight up robbery. Absolutely terrible

2 ★ I can't buy tickets, every time I try to log in I get an error message, so I always have to go and buy them through the website.

1 ★ An enormous joke passing as an app. Not only do they force you to have an account to buy your tickets, I have been unable to do anything without an error message of some kind, and I still wasn't able to buy the one ticket I needed. I got an error when I created my account, when I validated this account, when I logged in, and finally when buying the ticket. The ticket has now been loading for an hour. Bring back the old one, the one that worked.

2 ★ The previous app included the option to share your journey details to others or to your calendar app. This new version does not allow this key feature any more and the old app is discontinued 😟

1 ★ Absolutely terrible. They gutted the old app so you barely have route information anymore and ticketing is unreliable at best. Railpass trip activations only show up after hours or even days meaning you have to rely on the goodwill of the train personnel to believe you that you bought a valid ticket. Luckily they're aware the app is terrible.

1 ★ Not happy about this app, it looks good and smooth but it doesn't work as I wished. Payments does only sometimes work via the app and the app always shuts down completely everytime you go quickly to another app or lock your screen so you always have to search again for your train and the destiantions a few time in a row.

3 ★ So far so good. Only nuisances I experienced was when I opened the app for the first time, it didn't load (stuck on black logo). Closed and reopened and no issue. Then the first time settings screen: I couldn't disable the "I want to receive notifications". It just loaded the app settings menu without explanation. I did like is the little message "upgrade to 1st for 1 eur" when buying a ticket. It would even be better if you could upgrade your ticket even after you already bought one.

3 ★ hard to find how to buy a weekend ticket. asks a lot of unnecessary personal information during registration. most of all, why did they need a new app??

1 ★ Things used to work before this update came through. Connection drops out frequently (whilst transferring payments), password resets needed constantly, but once reset, the log-on isn't in sync. Must be a real money-maker for Belgian railways. Lots of people with undue fines. Well done.

1 ★ A real disaster. Unable to plan a trip on the next day! That's just a basic feature of a trip planner.

2 ★ This app worked just fine until last week when it logged me out, when I tried logging back in it gave me a "login error" although the login credentials were correct. I tried resetting the password, but no use. I reported this to the customer service and it still hasn't been taken care of. Had to buy a more expensive ticket because I couldn't use the multi ticket on my account... Disappointed.

2 ★ When first setting up my account I had to manually scroll back 61 years in the calendar to log my date of birth and have been unable to buy any tickets with it.
