Description
Most text editors don't have file associations for all text file types. There a are few obscure mime types they ignore. This app seeks to address that.
This app includes mime types handling of:
- application/octet-stream
- application/xml (*.xml)
- application/x-msdos-program (*.bat)
This app redirects the file mime type to 'text/plain' so that it can be redirected to your text editor.

1 ★ It didn't serve my purpose
5 ★ Works perfectly! The bad reviewers don't have a clue, IT'S FOR REDIRECTING ITS NOT A VIEWER. It could use a few more extensions built in but I can always select this as the default and it does the trick. It comes in handy in my file mgr for all those files (ie conf cfg sh bash smali class rc....) that Android doesn't see and are written in plain old text (even if it's arrange in a formated way like xml, html, sh etc). It's a shame that this function isn't built -in in ASOP., THANK YOU
1 ★ There is no icon to independently use this app. And when selecting a text file from my file manager, the options for opening the file never include this app. So this app is absolutely useless to me. I am using Android version 6.0.1
5 ★ Thank you. I find it indispensable for opening text files with custom extensions from official Dropbox app. One drawback - in my case when file is not marked as 'offline' every other time dropbox tries to use pdf viewer. That may be Dropbox fault as well. Usage is kind of tricky as there's no app shorcut, but this apps serves its purpose very well.
5 ★ After installing this, I am now able to open my arbitrary text files in Dropbox!
