App permissions

Transperth 2.9.5 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an app to access precise location.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

3 ★ app lately hasn't been showing where the bus is, it's either on the side of the road or not there at all, which is frustrating. the only thing I know how to use on it is the routes, the rest is confusing as all heck.

3 ★ Doesn't always give best option on journey planer. Example if I ask for Joondalup to Scarborough it always tells Me to go to Glendalough and catch 990 when it could be 5 minutes faster and 1 Zone cheaper to go via Stirling and catch the 421.

1 ★ Trash app, constantly telling me the wrong times. I got to the bus stop 10 minutes before the bus came and saw that the bus the app was reffering to go on was the one across the street despite me needing to go the other direction. The app constantly does this. It's rubbish

3 ★ Previously I would have awarded more stars, but a recent event showed a shortcoming in this app. I think it should alert disabled users that some rail stations are unsuitable for wheelchair access, and require assistance from staff. A friend almost suffered an accident recently.

1 ★ Pretty hard to make a connection when you are 5 minutes early for the bus and then it arrives 45 minutes late and there's supposed to be a bus every 15 minutes. Just pay for a car at least you know when you will arrive

1 ★ The version from several years ago worked well on my mobile. But I have reloaded on my new phone and it will not recognise addresses and doesn't work with Google maps. I can't make a favorite and can't plan a journey. Basically it won't work. And now it won't complete any reload. Ahhhhhh!!!!

2 ★ Nice attempt but fails at the essential. It does show the routes for different buses. It lacks a critical feature though. When you're waiting for the bus the most important piece of information you want is knowing how far the bus you're waiting for is from you. The app fails at that. Instead, the apps displays a long list with all the buses for a particular route and after clicking on each item and waiting a few seconds it shows the location of that bus 20km away from you. Not useful.

2 ★ The app worked great up until today everytime I try to open the app it automatically closes itself and says it stopped working. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it worked at first but when I closed the app and tried to re open it the problem came back

2 ★ Is functional, but lacks usability due to constantly wiping search results if closing out of app. As someone who likes gumtreeing and using public transport to get around, the app is very frustrating (i do not wish to save one off addresses as favorites); the app has the favorites screen 'get in the way' of faster use, and the way it clears destinations sgows it was built for 'certain users' and not everyone.

4 ★ I've been using the app for a long time but when I went to use it today Feb 7 any function I tried to do in the app just caused it to close. There is no message to indicate there is a problem. It was working finen on last use in December. Update Feb 15: reinstall app and now working but lost all custom journeys and locations. No reply to support email disappointing. PS. "now" button next to time spinwheel too close. To easy to reset time by accidentally tapping that button - #baduix

3 ★ Why does this app need access to my mic and camera? Despite having logged in and setup alerts, both email and device, haven't seen a push notification in months, what a waste.

4 ★ Doesn't always show all route choices so always double check timetables or google maps if the route seems odd or counterintuitive. Great notifications if a service is interrupted. Also keep an eye on battery usage as this app can be quite power draining. Otherwise a good app.

2 ★ What a lack lustre program. So much promise to make catching public transport simplified yet only manages to confuse the issue so user has no idea what's going on. Ok going to the city but it's total guess work for the user getting out with no live tracking and the schedules never lining up with the buses going past. Just be nice if it actually worked.

1 ★ This app is rubbish i cant even type in one location without its spazzing out.....i deleted it after barely 10 minutes not downloading again

3 ★ I prefer using Google maps, I find it more accurate. I wish there was a way to top up my smartrider on the app, that would really make life easier
