3 ★ While the app works good and the drivers are great. The process with advance bookings is OK. They take payment 12hrs ahead of the booking but then take payment again after the drive has been completed. It shouldn't be the whole fare again, it should be just the excess that is owed. I'm still waiting to be refunded the first fare. It should have only been a $45 fare. Now I'm down an extra $40 because it took it twice. Not happy about that.
5 ★ Fantastic, safe, Australian service for women, children and families!
3 ★ I was a big fan but there are issues with the app and operations. 1. The app is dated with the inability to save favourite addresses and the scroll wheel to choose pickup times is clunky. 2. The app was playing up last week and the driver's manual way of registering the ride doesn't seem to have worked, so she won't have been paid. Customer service rep said she'd look into it a week ago and nothing.
1 ★ First time I tried to use it I couldn't pinpoint my pick up address. It kept moving the pin to a block away from my location. Used a competitor instead; not only was the wait time considerably shorter but the fare was greatly reduced as well. Just tried to use it again. Wait time for a ride was 20 minutes, competitor's was three. Fare was $12.00 more expensive. I'll stick with the competitor.
2 ★ Love the concept but could not get the app to work properly on my (older) device. Still getting emails from them after deleting and unsubscribing.
2 ★ Good in theory, not great execution. There's a marked lack of drivers, a few times when requesting a ride, the app couldn't find any driver, and this was in the middle of Melbourne (Fitzroy) in the afternoon. Not the cheapest either, and I'm not sure what the pricing structure is like, but maybe market forces have determined that it isn't economical in the right ways to attract drivers and passengers. Might benefit from a rethink.
1 ★ The app is terrible and customer service is worse. There were three bugs with the app on my phone, one of which other potential users have complained about for months, going by the reviews, and to which their solution is not to fix it but to tell you to text the driver when they accept the job. Of course, tough luck if you didn't know about that particular bug (it's not necessarily obvious) and wait in vain for a driver to turn up. Customer service on the phone redirected me to email, where they have what is apparently an industry standard 3 day turn around, and they were rude and patronising. Thankfully Shebah won't be the only women-only ride-share service for long - there's a new one starting up called SheSafe. I don't know when they'll be operating but I've registered as a user and will wait for them to start. I'll go back to 13CABS in the meantime.
1 ★ The app is very frustrating. Getting the right pinpoint pick up is hard because despite typing in the correct address it marks it elsewhere. My last booking was a complete stuffup because the driver went to the destination address instead of the pick up address! a complete fail! AND the app still charged my credit card! There was no way to cancel the booking and no way to contact the driver. I just had to watch the car icon going the wrong way. Of course I had to book a competitor.
5 ★ Love Shebah! The drivers are absolutely lovely and I feel safe enough to sit in the front passenger seat! The fare is also about $20 cheaper than a taxi. The only issue I have is being able find a driver (in Adelaide) late on a friday/ saturday night. It would be good to have more drivers operating at all hours in Adelaide. As for all the people crying "descrimination"...you have clearly never been a WOMAN who has felt unsafe inside a taxi/uber and wished for a safer alternative.
1 ★ Sexist app and concept that is a total double standard!! Women want equality but then want to dip in and out of it when it suits you! Equal means equal! And these days the main rideshare apps all have emergency contact options available on the very remote chance that something nefarious takes place. I would love to see how women would react to an all-male rideshare service?! Hypocrites!
4 ★ I love the comfort of knowing I will be safer and/or more understand by a female driver. The drivers I've had have all been considerate and friendly, and also care for my safety as well. However the app is incredibly difficult. It often wont load ur open, then ordering a shebah often wont show on my end. Sometimes it wont show me drivers around, despite another being able to see them. So 5/5 for service, 2/5 for app.
5 ★ AMAZING. I remember taking taxis home late at night, feeling unsafe for years from work to home. Shebah is the option I wish I had to avoid so many uncomfortable encounters. The drivers are amazing & I am so glad that if I have kids, they won't ever have to feel unsafe like I did. In fact, they could even use Shebah when I need the pickup or drop off support. Thank you to all involved - truly grateful.
1 ★ So incredibly disappointed. I downloaded this app excited to be able to support an all-female business but was let down when I was charged $24 for a ride that was cancelled within a second of booking. The driver is unlikely to have even left. So so disappointed. This could be a great business if they didn't commit what is bordering on theft. Feeling so let down by this. It really is a disgrace.
5 ★ Great experience using this app and their service. I have used this few times and I have to say they have experienced and courteous drivers like Lisa R. The car is well maintained and as I normally request a child seat as well, it is nicely setup. Quality ride throughout and would highly recommend.
2 ★ Drivers are great but the app is terrible. Whenever i type an address, it takes a good 10minutes to register what i had typed, sometimes had to close and re-open the app multiple times just for it to get the address. No option to save addresses for ease of navigation. Please fix.
