Description
Customers (Senders) book their deliveries and pay via the Web based or smartphone app. A Runner bids for a job via the smartphone app and the Go People system selects the most suitable Runner. The selected Runner then collects the consignment from the pick-up location and delivers it to the recipient.
Go People, its Senders, Runners and the Senders’ customer (the recipient) benefit from GPS tracking and instant communication from pick up to receipt. Delivery verification and signed confirmation is assured. The Runner then receives 85% of the winning bid price.

Go People - Runner App 6.2.17 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ Waste of time. Over Christmas very busy. I worked 6 days a week for 3 weeks up to Christmas and I thought it would be a good job. After Christmas demand dies down and ive done only 1 shift since, despite being a "favourited" runner. What this means is a mystery as there are no benefits at all. At warehouse I was often standing around for half hour waiting for jobs to come through, time wasted and you get impatient. Was ok with smaller routes that took around 4-5 hours but not now

1 ★ Does not even open/load. Logo screen shows and them app crashes. Fully updated and still crashes. My phone is a Google Pixel 2 XL running Android Pie.

1 ★ If you plan this as a job, then please run away. If you choose to do it anyway here are some tips: avoid FLOWERS. They are sometimes huge. If they are not huge, mostly they will have big clunky breakable wet vase full of water that you have to carry from the back of hospital to the front entry. Avoid CITY, not worthy even after the bonus. Avoid SHIFT as you don't know how many stops you will have no make. Customers did not calculate your time to find a parking and your time waiting for the recipient. No safety.. you don't know what you actually pickup. Runners here bid low to get the job not knowing they actually losing money. Welcome to free trade.. where offer is bigger than demand.
