Description
Take your control of your AstralPool 'eQ' or 'Viron' chlorinator to the next level by going wireless. Connecting through Bluetooth, this app allows you to control and configure your chlorinator remotely. Now you can continue to relax in your pool or spa and still have full control!
Once linked, this app lets you control all the major functions of your chlorinator without having to climb over all your other equipment. With the simple-to-use interface, you can start and stop the pump, place it into Auto mode, control lighting, adjust the Timers, and more. Please turn on Location in your phone Settings.
App Features
- Discover, name and store up to four chlorinators.
- Start and stop the pump manually, or place it into Auto mode.
- Turn on and off your lights, and change their colour.
- View your water balance and adjust chemistry set-points.
- Control the pump speed.
- View and adjust the pump and lighting timers, with full control of start & stop time and speed.
This app requires a compatible AstralPool chlorinator. Contact your local dealer or AstralPool representative if you're unsure whether your chlorinator is compatible. Not all features available in all chlorinator models. Some features require additional equipment, such as chemical sensors or lighting controllers.

1 ★ Cannot connect to my chlorinator, even standing right next to it, seems to be a problem with the Android app, works on pool guys iPhone. I just get that there is no device in range. Surely it should be fixed, been weeks of this.
1 ★ Unable to pair to Astral V35 Viron chlorinator with Bluetooth, even when standing next to it. App says no chlorinators in range. Rebooted phone, same problems. Problem is the app needs location / GPS turned on to pair. Why does a Bluetooth app need permission to the GPS to work ? In fact why does this app need half the permissions it calls for on the phone? Lazy coding.
4 ★ Worked fine until my phone and app has updated. Now I can no longer connect to my pool equipment. Bluetooth scan shows it is available however, when I try to connect I get a message of this needs an application to connect. Developer has fixed the issue promptly and it now works well. Many thanks for the fix
1 ★ yes... same as the other guys here app was working around the 25/02/21 tried to connect today and cannot find. chlorinator. I can stand 1 cm away and cant find it. Has anyone here deleted and reinstalled and paired their device? Has it discovered chlorinator again? I did this about 8 months ago and it fixed it. Friggen pain in the arse app.
4 ★ Edit: app now working fine and BT range is good....... App states no devices in range even though i can see the chlorinator under available Bluetooth devices on my phone. Chlorinator is brand new.
3 ★ Update- uninstall and reinstall seem to fix the problem. App stopped working after update. No longer able to locate chlorinator even stand next to it.
1 ★ The latest update v1.5 is now functioning correctly. How about adding the actual ORP reading, to the app? Chlorine OK is pointless.
4 ★ The latest update on this app to improve Bluetooth connectivity works really well. Very pleased with its functionality.
2 ★ Ok to use but the bluetooth connection is so slow and won't connect unless you are right next to the the chlorinator
